I agree that this piece is more representational than your previous works but I really like it. I like "Lake of Fire". I get destruction and renewal (focus on renewal) and love your identifying people reaching up. It is good to hear you voice the loss many of us feel at the fires in Australia and sending good vibes out to people in general who are feeling loss and pain.The world needs all the light it can get. Paint on my beautiful friend. It helps.

Love the name on this one. Flames via skewer...turned out so well. What really makes it for me is the gold at the bottom. Molten gold lake with flames. Yep...very nice.

I think we all need to hear those things once in a while. I have to remind myself to stay positive, it is a daily effort but so worth it. Life can change for the better if we steer in the direction of positivity. But you can't steer towards something if you are looking in the other direction. Right?

I don’t see you torch a lot when you swipe. My torch is broken n haven’t been painting n I’m getting frustrated. Do you shake your paints the night before? Does that work? I love all your work. Still practicing.. your space n paintings are amazing! Ty for sharing your art.
I don't torch, don't have a torch. The trend for torching started to encourage the silicone to rise to the top. I have never used silicone so therefore, no torching. I SOMETIMES use a heat gun to pop air bubbles. I shake my paint within the hour of painting. Sometimes there are tiny bubbles. I wouldn't suggest a torch though. It could damage the surface of your paint.
Gorgeous....again! 😉 live in Québec, Canada and the GAC 800 seems to be less available now, I’ve been using their gloss medium and I can’t say I see a difference
That's not surprising. Maybe they'll be phasing out one and replacing it with the other. They have renamed products before, but never kept them both on the market as far as I've seen.

Wow! I'm glad you like it so much, Laura. This painting is on a 12"*24" gallery wrapped canvas with a 1.5" deep profile.
The initial drips made me think of blood tears. Maybe that is the way I have been feeling these past few days.
But, when you flipped the painting and added the detail, I started to see sailboats headed to shore at sunset.
So, our tears for those we lost have sailed them safely to shore.
