The hope is to build out a nice zoa garden, and we chatted about this in our Zoanthid highlight episode on the channel; having similar sized polyps, similar growth rate, and contrasting colors you can have success with it! -Blaine
What's the trick to getting the acans so fluffy? Mine tend to be a little closer to the skeleton, but have been in the tank for over a year in the same spot no change in lighting (around 70ish par)
Low flow, lower lighting like you have them in, and I think present phosphates and nitrates encourage them to be a little more fluffy as well. Some reefers say feeding helps maintain them being fluffy too! -Blaine
i have a cyano, hair, and bubble algae outbreak, green and red. Tank has been going for 7 months with no issues now boom B**ch slapped all at once lol. What did you guys do?
The firefish actually do well in this small group since we have added them in! Feel it's important to make sure that during feedings everyone gets a bite! -Blaine
Will be excited to get more in there and get you a better idea once we have them in there! For the Dragon though it seems to be doing great for it! -Blaine
Definitely do a video on Blaine's tank! Also I'd love to see a yellow submarine favia and euphyllia in the 250
Got to get it together 😂 more euphyllia no doubt! Thanks for tuning in and dropping a comment.

Almost missed this video BIG DOGGIE 💯👣 Great job on the tank BLAINE, and KEVIN BIG DOGGIE 💯👣
Thank you!!! Been excited to see this one finally coming into its own!

BLAINE BIG DOGGIE 💯👣
Nice info, great
Thanks for the comment and tuning in!

Looks great! I'm building the same sized system. Do you think with 3 ReefLED 90's would be sufficient for SPS dominant?
I sure think so! We are growing sps with two of em! Im sure 3 can get the job done!!
-Blaine
@ Awesome. I think I’ll buy two now and consider a 3rd in the future if needed. Thanks for the reply!
Would love to see your personal tank!😊 Some Octospawn or Hologram hammers would look great in the tank 250.
It's on the idea board! I can see some cool hammers in the 250 for sure!
-Blaine
Yes Blaine... lets see a tank tour of your personal tank at home.
Alright y'all keep asking for it! I gotta get Kevin to hook me up LOL!
-Blaine
I’ll like to know what salt you use for this tank?
Nice looking tank!!
Much appreciated! We are using the same water the farm is using, and they are utilizing the Red Sea Blue Bucket salt!
-Blaine
Yes I want to see your personal tank !!!
It’s going on the idea board! Glad people want to see that!
-Blaine
I had a Dino outbreak in my mature tank. It really went away after adding a rock from my other tank! And dosing a ton of tetra phyto
These things happen in reefing! The fun never really stops LOL! Thanks for tuning in.

@@TopShelfAquatics plenty of twist and turns that make the hobby fun!
Blaine's Tank 👏 Blaine's Tank 👏 Blaine's Tank 👏
So let it be written, so let it be done.

Did you buy that rock arch or make it yourself? Looks incredible
Was custom made in house by Kevin one of the co-owners of TSA! The Aquascape King!
-Blaine
Hi. What is the return flow rate on your 250?
We are using the ReefRun 9000 and have it at 45%!
-Blaine
I would add a meat coral to the right front of the tank. something like a big acantho would balance the scape out.
Third comment for an Acantho! It just might have to happen…
-Blaine
We want to see all your personal tanks🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Second comment for it! We shall see!!!
-Blaine
Yo I wanna see your tank Blaine!
Think I might have to make it happen now after hearing all these comments!
-Blaine
How are you going to keep the zoas in check? I imagine that with so many so close that one will end up taking over.
The hope is to build out a nice zoa garden, and we chatted about this in our Zoanthid highlight episode on the channel; having similar sized polyps, similar growth rate, and contrasting colors you can have success with it!

What are the LED's percentages set at?
Honestly fairly low! We are running the Blues at 30% and the Whites at 10% for 8HRS a day!
-Blaine
i have a cyano, hair, and bubble algae outbreak, green and red. Tank has been going for 7 months with no issues now boom B**ch slapped all at once lol. What did you guys do?
We threw the whole kitchen sink at it! Blackout periods, phyto dosing, torching the rock space with a butane torch... we went all in on it!
-Blaine
Bang-a-rang alveopora deserves to be in this tank
This is very true my good friend !
-Blaine
How does that work with multiple filefish in the same tank?
The firefish actually do well in this small group since we have added them in! Feel it's important to make sure that during feedings everyone gets a bite!
-Blaine
Add the supernova acro
I like this idea!!!
-Blaine
Are you guys seeing good sps growth with the Red Sea LED lights?
Will be excited to get more in there and get you a better idea once we have them in there! For the Dragon though it seems to be doing great for it!
-Blaine
Your chalk bass needs more food to look more like a bass🎉 I seen them fat they look better that way😂
You’re not wrong Paul! Something about a chunky chalk bass that warms my heart LOL thanks for tuning in!
-Blaine
Acantho
I can get behind this idea!!
-Blaine
@@TopShelfAquatics Talk to Frank! See if there is something "fire" left that I didn't buy from him :)
Need some meat!
Second comment saying this! I can understand that too!
-Blaine
The wife just wants an IM 80…
IM 80 it is! 😂
