Oh, Scott!! Your creation evolved into mystic beauty! How I love abstracts, and even though we may not know the outcome, you take that chance using textures, and tools. How exciting, and gorgeous!! Thank you so much for your inspiration. 😘💖🎨
Hi Joy! An interesting process to share! I actually find it hard to create something totally different to anything I have created before! But it excites me to do that! 👍
I always watch and enjoy your beatiful and free work, that inspire me so much. Thank you for that. I see you on my tv, so now, I decided to send this congratulations from my tablet.🤗👏
I live n Oregon so I don't care for the boards either. For the same reasons too lol! I use a piece of white Plexiglas. I had a large piece that was a cover for an old x ray viewer. It was probably an 1/8" thick so I cut it n 1/2. Taped it together with duct tape. I marked out rulers around all sides. I can mix paints on the sides of my work as I go then wash & do again. Best tool I've made so far, although, I do love my old brushes dipped n masking fluid. They're great little stamping tools. Watercoloring is so much fun! Thanks for all the many hours of beautiful work u share! That's my quite time fun! Love ur narrations! Love ur talent!!! I wish u well, just sayin
The start with the palettes knives was really exciting! And the way how you sprizz the water with your bottle and wipe away the cooler so that really soft light appears. Really awesome. :))
Oh thanks Scott, that was really cool to watch. Nothing more pleasing for me than an abstracty seascape. We have been having some awesome sunsets this last week, so plenty of inspiratio, thanks again Alioban x
Thanks Corinne! It just comes from hours of painting in watercolour! Less to do with talent and more to do with a deep understanding of the medium. You are already on the path to being talented! 👍👍
Hi Scott,I use plastic signs cut up and you can hold them while painting and clean them easy or tape on or just wet both sides and it sticks ,even 90 lb paper,it's very light for traveling.👍🇮🇪
Hi Scott. Thanks again for another video that brings light into my ideas and encouragement to keep painting. I'm wondering if you have ever used Stonehenge paper. As I read about it, the two seem similar, but not exact. Stonehenge appears to be less expensive, which would be really nice.
Hi Jennifer! I’m really pleased you like the videos! I have used that paper before. It is lovely paper. From memory it was a slightly warm white but I should use some again! I love the rives for the luminosity of the paper that shines through the paint! 👍👍
Amazing. Thank you Scott. . Surely you had SOME sort of idea of what you wanted to see on the page? Abstract, but clear as to what it represents. . No plan at all? I should try but scared to throw paint down willy - nilly. Advice?

Thanks Liz! I’m pretty happy with the end result! It’s pretty interesting and has a deep feel to it! 🙏🙏
I loved how you verbalised those early decisions to start the painting and it evolved instinctively into such beauty.

I knew those palette knives I bought would come in handy sometime! I really fancy making a mess this afternoon lol Fabulous work Scott. xx
I know! There I was thinking it would be oil paint! No! Watercolour! Yes enjoy making a mess this afternoon! 👍👍👍👍🙏
@@ScottSwinson haha I will do. ;) xx
Lovely. It just popped out of your mind and your tools. I would love to get to this point.
Thanks Julie! Yes! It was fun to paint something new! 👍👍
I wet my wooden board and wet both sides of my paper to avoid buckling. it still takes a lot of water to produce a painting:-)
Yes that’s a really good way to go if you are not doing heaps of layers. 👍👍
You are killing me, Sir...

You have got to have some kind of reference going on! What is it?
Braw
Thanks Gaz!
The program that makes funny words and sentences is terrible! instead of cooler it has to be colour..
Hi Rohi! Yes I know the captions are not always exactly right. I saw hate brush the other day instead of hake brush! 🙏👎
