- Top Gear and The Grand Tour encounter difficulties in slowing down or braking due to various issues, such as brake failures, worn brakes, or overheating brakes. While it might have some element of misdirection, it still relates to the overarching theme of limited braking capacity, which can create suspense and humour in the content

James' "Hello" in front of the ladies never gets old
“Very pretty”
-Jeremy
Hullo
It's a charming hullo.
You have to start with hello.
he somehow teleported from inside his car
I love how James thought the two would just suddenly abandon their frantic argument to admire some monkeys
I think that was more to keep himself cool.
“i’ve lost a skull..”
“monkeys” 🤣🤣🤣
It's edited together, it probably didn't happen in that sequence... But the Top Gear guys were the best in the game at that, a classic scene.
For the record: He spent that whole safari bit talking about how monkeys were extremely vicious and dangerous, more so than lions. He was actually warning of them.
@@MontyTheBuoyantNo you're thinking of the convertible people carrier episode, which that comment was a subtle callback to. The animal of concern with the Botswana special was the honey badger.
James just randomly appearing out of his car and saying "Hello" the way he did always makes me laugh.
James and Jeremy trying to find out how to stop the car until the latter tried to use air friction is criminally underrated
The way they leave the car 😂
This show taught me how important every part of a car is… by breaking every part of a car

Always that one dude in Top Gear comments
@@scarletcrusader5431some say his genius is illegal in 37 states. We call him The Hero
Jeremy : I've lost a skull
James: Monkes 🙉
"now how do I stop?"
"What?"
Literally the best example of 'we'll figure it out later' 😂😂
Got to admire Hammond’s commitment to braking late even if it does go wrong
Often times he does it purpose, to me it's pretty cringed and annoying
2:42 is the most jam-packed, chaotic 20 seconds in top gear history
MONKEYS!
"monkeys!"
Crowbar of Embrayage will always be ingrained in my brain.
HURL THE MOV-no
"no brakes, no brakes"
"This is no stopping"
*Car goes out of shot*
"PLEASE STOPPP!"
"I've lost a skull!"
"Monkey :-)"
Lives rent free in my head
I honestly thought Hammond was going into the alligator infested river when he failed to stop in the USA special. I love the awkward "Hello" from James. It cracks me up every time.
The caravan train from May and Hammond overrunning the platform be like: "As a result, he and his coaches often overran the platform! Thomas found this most embarrassing."
Your encyclopedic knowledge of Top Gear is amazing. If I could suggest one more, doesn’t Hammond have brake problems with his Suzuki Vitara during the police car challenge?
I love how Jeremy struggles to figure out how to make the motor carriage to stop and then goes “JAMES! WE’RE GOING TO BE KILLED!” 😂
Thank you for all these uploads
At work on break got a notification
This is now playing in the Canteen on the TV to 11 people...
I love how dramatic that scene where they're trying to stop that old car is 😅
2:25
**collapsed lung laugh**
James May - ‘Hello’ 😐😂
I decided to use ingenuity.
“That my friction….that’s my wind resistance.” 🤣😭
Anyone noticed how it's mostly Clarkson who has braking problems?
@@freespace353 Best comment I've ever read.
@@freespace353 no wonder he only believes in SPEED AND POWER!!!
Another great compilation
''no. brakes, no brakes it's just not stopping, please stop''.
James laughing.
Clarkson and Hammond: In a panic.
May: Monkeys! :D
“Clarkson, Hammond, May EXPLOSION COMPILATION”
Tonight….. I say “no brakes!”…… Richard says he hasn’t got brakes…….and James and I struggle to brake a 100 year old car.
or and James go so slow he doesn't need brake.
Hammonds “I have to ditch it” has been like a motto for him…many times he did not even had to say it 😐
You missed S14E3 on the Lancia Monte Carlo. There were no brakes on that car too, as Hammond stated.
4:30 Hello
Hullo
nice to see Oliver
Think Jeremy, think 😂
Quote of the Day:
“Hello.”
- James May
I still have no idea what fell from the tree at 2:58 looks like a bird but idk
0:09 yeah clarksons BMW didn’t stop
2:35 he didn’t even make the turn
Jeremy has no brakes and crashes into Oliver but when a tree is in his path seconds later he comes to a skidding halt!
Hmmmmmmmm!
Could’ve yanked the handbrake, that might’ve still worked
If the handbrake was still working, he may have been slow enough to have used that, using the handbrake is NOT recommended if the vehicle is at speed cos it will spin out of control otherwise.
What fell out of the tree?
4:23 While driving, look ahead, not at womens. :D
You've overshot the platform, James.
0:50 Hammond: James, we're bloody miles off. Me: May, YOU OVERSHOT THE PLATFORM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What about Hammond's police car after the lap when he drove through the boxes?
'Monkeys' 😂😂😂
2:57 that’s funny calrkson
Hello 🧍♂️
4:21. Scary how cheap that petrol is in comparison to today. Still betting on over £2 a litre in the next 5 years.
take abruptly the crowbar of embrayage
James, we’re miles off, but not for long.
*Is 'no brakes' what caused the incident with the original Rimac?*
James Hello
Never gets old.
Have they even had jammed throttles?
The Beta, the 528i, the V8 buggy?
@@jeremyfong5684 Well, I guess i was wrong
You missed the Africa special where they all lost their brakes
How are these men not dead yet?.
Hello 🧍♂️
Hello.
hello
sWATCH OUT BRAKES DON'T WORK *tap* Sorry, there's no brakes!
Where is the albania scene with the wallbreaking?🫣
