No offense to the person who made this video, for the aftermarket Community who is looking to Turbo a beta 1/2 Tiburon-Elantra-accent You need to know that most people who have done it or not going to share that information with you it's a common problem in the car community people are very much like crabs. My advice over the knowledge I've gained is to make a "patch wiring harness" so that whatever ecu you have can be directly plug and play.
If I wanna swap a beta block into my 3rd gen accent, should I go with a CVVT version or no? Should I use the accent's ECU with the beta wiring harness and coil packs?
@@mnightfamalam1510 do the beta 2 with Cvvt out of the 04-06, the crank is forged with 4 more counter weights on the crank then the beta 1 ,with a closed deck iron block drop the compression with a decompression head gasket and you can run 25 psi, and maybe do a hx35 turbo

I find it hilarious that anyone wouldn't. You can get a 4cl 2.0 up to 485bhp Stock is boring. This car is made to be modded. Sadly though... there aren't many parts to be able to do so!
@@KyleBc95 everything is meant to be modded if you want it modded. Have you not seen the late 90s? It’s not hard to throw a little spinny boi on one of these and run 8-10psi. I’m sure the designers of the civic never thought people would do the things they did with the car. What kind of communist thinking is that? Because you don’t think anyone should modify this car that means they shouldn’t? I hope just to spite you that every tib owner mods their car and it’s all you see when you go driving. I have a 13b rotary swap in my s2000, I’m all about thinking outside of the box
I’d highly recommend throwing a turbo in a 2.7L V6 Tiburon GT rather than doing it in a 4 cylinder 2.0L. He’d definitely need to dyno that shit consistently, run pistons, cold air intake, and make sure the turbo is not some amazon eBay turbo or else that shit will blowski lol
@@WhiteWaterVisuals you realize that the G4GF is iron right while the v6 is a aluminum body the 4 cylinder can handle more boost than an aluminum block. By the time you hit the limit on the G6BA the 4 cylinder will be past that a stock G4GF/G4GC motor can handle 8-12psi stock. While the G6BA can't even get near that stock.
@@MJT-DAyou right im running on 10psi on stock engine and everything fine for now. You can run 15 psi or more if you have big injectors and a good mapping. Cheers
It's the g4gc and you can take more then 5psi without tune, you need just bigger injectors, i runned at 10psi with mine and the 290cc injectors from the santa fe v6, the afr was not too bad but if you put like 400cc it will be better without mapping

@RedPill0803 what was your AFRs with the Santa fe injectors? I wanna do the same, want to turbo but don't want to go through with the pain fo tuning. 4 to 6 psi max probably because no tune makes me scared to blow it up.
Hey man, my 2.0 tiburon has like 59k km’s only. I really want a turbo in it, mine has 153/PK/HP right now, instead of 143. But is it worth adding a turbo? I love my car tho but I don’t know what is wise. Like wasting 3k cash on turbo or save up for something else? Thanks!

@@MrDzl19 the engine is pretty bulletproof for running low shots. Most of the forums say you can use small shots on a stock block.I’m considering a wet system and going with a 35 shot.

@@RedPill0803 unless you are pushing a lot of boost, flutter is harmless. Especially this kind of flutter. Where it’s bad is when you’re around 40psi and the blowoff valve can’t get all the pressure out so it comes back through and surges past the compressor. If you hear what I said, I said so much pressure the blowoff valve can’t keep up.

this is the G4GF beta engine right? would 5psi boost make a noticeable difference? i plan to boost mine and they can only do 5psi max (w/out tuning)
