    Which range finder would you recommend for someone hunting in Arizona since it's super bright and you mentioned this range finder isn't great in bright conditions new to hunting and really looking for a budget option thank you

    • @TheBudgetSportsman

      I don’t believe tide we even offers the the colored display anymore. Either way I would recommend the hr-f700. It has a black display that will contrast well in bright light, and it’s very affordable. If you need to be able to range longer distances then get the 1000 yard version.
      Tidewe now offers a mini version that is very good as well.
      Whichever one you get, if you use my code in the video, you can get 18% off

    Excellent Video. I just purchased a high-powered PCP air rifle. I highly doubt that I’m going to be shooting it more than 200 yards for target practice and marksmanship, so I don’t see the point of purchasing the new HR-1000 model as compared to the HR- 700 model. Do you agree?
    I was told by the company that the models you are discussing here are no longer made and are replaced by the HR 700/1000.

      @TheBudgetSportsman  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’m sorry for the late reply. The HR-F700 still exists. The OLED version does not.
      But I would agree 700 yard will be more than enough. That what I use and it works fine. The only time I ever need more than that is just for curiosity how far something is.

      I agree about not shooting in low light but often the first thing I do is range trees to get a rough idea of distances around me. I rarely actually range an animal. So usually I try to do that is early as possible so I’m ready if anything comes through.

      I’ve only had a chance to shoot one 3D course this year and I had the HD-700E with me. That range finder was working fine on dark targets when my friends older range finder wouldn’t give a reading.
      I just took the HR-F700 into the back yard in dim light and had no problem getting a reading on a totally black object behind my shed. The only issue in low light will be reading the black display against a dark background. That should be no issue in daylight hours even under heavy timber but could be a problem very early in the morning or late at night. It’s a common issue with any range finder that has a black readout.
