If you stay til the end there will be long lines for buses and train because everyone is leaving at the same time. So if you want to make it back to Shizuoka in a timely manner then you might have to leave before everyone else does :( great question. I hope this helps :)

Would you know ahead of time what the order for the lineup would be at all stages and an estimated time they would be on or was it a wait and see kinda vibe? I am a bit worried I will miss something that I have been waiting for if I go out to buy some food. What items were not allowed inside? Thanks so much in advance!
Im so happy to hear that. Thanks for watching! As for your questions, you most definitely will be able to see the time and line up before hand. That information should be easily found online. If it is not there now it could just be that it is still to early. I was able to see line up and times before going and it help my friends and I to plan out our day at the festival. As for the second question, you are basically allowed to bring anything onto the festival grounds, aside from anything that is potentially dangerous: lighters, pocket knife, ect. You can bring outside food and drink, even alcohol. I saw some people had tents and coolers and made small camps haha. Im not sure if that is free to do, but it was an observation. The only thing that i believe was not permitted is any food or drink that can not be stored is not allowed near stage areas. For example, food that can not be sealed away like pizza and drinks that can not be sealed like cans and open cups. I hope you have a fun experience at Summer Sonic :)

I did not have VIP but from what I could see, it was not assigned seating. I’m not really sure what special feature VIP tickets include, but from someone who has purchased regular tickets, I would say my experience was still really good without having VIP tickets. Whatever decision you make with tickets I’m sure it will be fun! Make sure to bring hats sun glasses and towels. It really helps protect you from the sun. Also you can bring food and drink to the festival so it would be a good idea to freeze a bottle of water or two at home. Hope you have a great time !
Hi! I'll be watching Summer Sonic 2023 in Osaka to see Blur on the Ocean stage. I don't have a platinum entry pass, I only have the basic 1 day pass. Will I still get the chance to be standing right in the front of stage? or only platinum entry pass people can enter the front stage area?
I believe platinum will only get to be right up at the stage. I am not completely sure on that. But with the basic ticket, if you are able to get spots early, the view is still very very good.

Once you scan your tickets you get a wrist band and that is your access into different stage areas. Otherwise the entire event is basically open and anyone could walk on the grounds. I am not from Japan and am travelling in to attend the festival and I’m struggling to book tickets for the shuttle bus tickets via Lawson ticket since I have to create an account which requires a Japanese number. Hello. I didn’t have to book a shuttle bus. There was a bus, I can’t remember if it was a normal bus on shuttle hours, but it was first come first serve. If you arrive early the line will probably be short…ish, but it’s a major city so the line will be busy regardless. All I used was my suica, which is the rechargeable transportation card good for train and bus, or you can use coins but it’s a bit inconvenient. Sorry I wish I could help you with the shuttle bus tickets but it wasn’t my mode of transportation. This is the most info I can give you. Good luck and I hope you have so much fun!

I am not sure I children were aloud to enter, I actually don’t recall seeing any children, but that may just be because of the culture here or the crowd, you know. I would think it would be okay but definitely don’t take my word for it :) as far as lockers, i didn’t need any so I wasn’t looking, but there was an area where if you need to keep some stuff you could. Not sure if there was a fee related to that but I think it was free. Hope this helps and if you are planning to go I hope you have a great time. It was really a lot of fun. Make sure to protect yourself in that summer heat 😂
