@@halvarianknight4477 nah. I've been gone from Yugioh since about 2007 I guess and I recently found your channel after getting Link Evolution for Switch. Hero cards were my absolute favorite as a kid, and I'm learning so much about the game and having fun rediscovering new plays. Thanks a lot!
I recommend using Solid Soldier, Shadow Mist, Dark Law, Dian, Mask Changes. I would also recommend Isolde. Shes a link 2 that was meta a year ago in Gouki. Equip spells to use with her effect to special summon Shadow Mist out would be Moon Mirror Shield (equip this if you draw it then link into Isolde to put itself back so Isolde is live again), D.D.R, Living Fossil, the noble arms that pops a spell or trap etc. Any 4 equips that are extenders basically. Anything like Junk Foward, Goblindbergh, or Photon Thrashed can help to make her in addition to your normal summon to make Isolde. You basically get Isolde plus Dark Law easy plus back row of your preference. Another clean tip, Isolde can search out a follow up normal summon like Stratos for next turn or Honesty Neos to protect Dark Law. Last thing, after special summoning Shadow Mist to fetch Mask Change, wait until your opponent s turn to Mask Change it to Dark Law. This will allow you to get the search a HERO effect off to get around Mists one effect per turn. The deck plays differently IRL bc LinkEvos cardpool is a bit behind but this advice should help.
12:50 actually, rulings say that shuffling a card into the deck doesn’t count as leaving. Don’t ask me why, maybe because it needs to be face up to activate the effect? Pisses me of when playing yubel in duel links
Either that or cards can't activate their effects from the deck unless they specifically say they can. I think the Extra Deck is the same, excluding Pendulum monsters. Otherwise, Pendulums couldn't activate floating effects.
Jon Klaus yes, but being shuffled into the deck doesn’t count as leaving the field for some reason. I know this because I play a yubel deck on duel links, originally I was not afraid of drowning mirror force since I figured my yubel - terror incarnate would just float into the ultimate nightmare when it is shuffled into the deck, only for it to not activate like that and seriously confuse me. You can google “The new Terminology and Problem-Solving card text” to get to a konami document that also states that getting shuffled into the deck does not count as leaving the field
Absolute Zero is insane, fusion summon it and then instantly Mask Change it to Masked HERO Acid and you can just wipe your opponents field while getting an extra 100 attack. I’ve done that plenty of times
Easy way to explain the timing of optional effects. "If", as long as the condition happens, you can activate the effect. "When", the condition must be the last thing happening in order to be able to activate the effect, so if a chain occurs which causes the condition to not be the last thing happening, you miss the timing.
it is a mechanic that could have been easily avoided if komoney had once per turn clauses for floaters back in the old days. apparently the mechanic did not exist back in 1999 but if it did there was no effect that could really miss timing.
@@scorpionsapprentice3248 Komoney's problem is that they vehemetly refused to work with keywords and when they introduced "banish" they still half-assed it, because now you have look up both "out of play" and "banish" text when searching cards for same effect/trigger. It's the reason why everyone makes memes out of yugioh several paragraph long card effects, that way they could've rebalanced the rules around keywords without the mandatory text additions for all the new cards and erratas/bans on every problematic card.
@@TheDuelLogs that's fair enough, bane was just the 2nd really good fusion monster that came to my mind after DL, so I was Co fused. Also I liked that you included Sunrise even tho he's technically not tcg yet. Keep the good content comming :)

Dude, Sunrise is such a good card. If you start with a Blazeman or Poly in your hand, you just instantly get a Sunrise and another fusion. Destroying any card on the field for just having an Hero attack is just the cherry on top.
Regarding Absolute Zero @ 12:48 "So, if your opponent destroys this card by battle, destroys it by card effect, bounces it, banishes it, or returns it to the Deck..." -- whoops! If it's returned to the Extra Deck face-down with Phoenix Wing Wind Blast or a similar effect, Zero's Raigeki does NOT activate, as cards face-down *in a Deck* do not have effect text and cannot have any effects activated. If it's sent there face-up, then it works.

Don't forget Destiny HERO Denier who can get a banished Destiny HERO Malicious back into the deck to use its effect again (also form change can be used on dangerous to get out Masked hero dark law)
best thing about dark law is that it is a soft once per turn, so if you have 2 on the field, you will banish 2 cards from your opponent's hand if they add a card from their deck
true, i am a duel links player exclusively, but one of my favorites is elemental HERO core. for the decks that play it, it is a simple generic 3 monsters that any card in the deck can satisfy (as long as the card is a monster) for materials. on top of that, it is very difficult to beat over, as the opponent has to have more than double its 2700 attack (unless they can change its battle position), and also acts as a great "noob trap". then its second effect blows up 1 monster of the controller's choice during the end phase if it battled (optional, cant miss timing). Its final effect then resurrects 1 lower leveled fusion monster of the same archetype when destroyed by any means, even its own effect. the only limitations are the fact that it stays within its own archetype and that it is a light monster. but you already pointed out that when number 10 goes international, the shining will likely become more valueable, so i think core might get the same treatment. 10 is an elemental hero, after all. not to mention that core can revive it to get a second search out of the same card.
Back in the day I would use Polymerization to summon Terra Firma then use Miracle Fusion to summon Absolute Zero by banishing Ocean and Woodsman. Then I would use Terra Firma's effect to send Absolute Zero to the GY and raise its ATK to 5000 which then would trigger Absolute Zero's effect to destroy all monsters the opponent controls
Me personally i like wlemental hero core, solid effect, and easy to summon with stratos combo fetching 3 heros. Because of the stratos being in duel links, i have a nasy deck
As a seasoned hero player with fusion destiny you can send elemental hero shadow mist for dangerous because it's a dark eff monster which makes you go plus
Flame/Shining Flare Wingman could have been a honorable mention, and maybe even Gaia and Nova. Also as a video idea, a Top 10 Pointless Cards in Duel Links
Anki is once per turn, but if you search for form change and use it to get dian out, you can SS shadowmist and get another mask change to then get out darklaw.(got to make sure not have already have a darklaw out because the monsters need to hit the GY)
I'd like to see this as well. That Supreme King Z-Arc comes to mind but is a kick ass monster if you get it out. Though I got mad when someone Kaiju'ed it.
I know this video is a couple years old but Fun Fact: Dystopia and Dangerous are even better now because you can link them with another HERO, Cross Crusader, and immediately use him to bring them back, which saves them from Fusion Destiny's destroy at the end phase. So you can basically get it out for free. Plus if Malicious was used for Fusion destiny you can summon another to the field, link it with Cross Crusader to get Dread Decimator, increasing Dystopias ATK to use his destruction effect.
do you think you could make a deck revolving around turning vision hero trinity into a plant-type, then equipping it with thorns of malice, and then attacking the same monster 3 times as an otk?
He looked on how often they are seen in the competitive scene. And because banes 3 card combo is one of the most, if not the most, expensive cardcombo at the moment, it isn't seen in every competitive hero deck. In other words, he forgot to consider the pricetag
I think an honourable mention can go to Evil Hero Malicious Bane, maybe not a solid spot on the list, as the Dark Fusion summoning requirement is hard to pull off. However, the outs are either effect negation or banishing and it's not the easiest to beat over, plus it can power itself every turn if the opponent attempts to set up a board without negates.
Fusion gate the water omni and fuse the water omni with a light type to activate the effect and also have a bunch of banished heroes that you can recycle and summon a bunch of things in one turn. Was good with backrow clearers for an OTK
I'm surprised Elemental hero core didn't get a mention, being able to destroy 1 card every time it battle and having a floating effect to special summon an lvl 8 or lower elemental hero ignoring summoning conditions in addition to doubling it's attack when it's attacked is per good imo, tho I can see why it's not great, it can only be fusion summoned, is an earth type elemental hero whose summoning effect only works on E hero's, it's pretty good in an elemental hero deck but doesn't fit into a hero deck very well

But have to say that it's not that good as it can get field removal outside destruction pretty easily and does not disrupt board in anyway. I've used Rokket specifically so that I can guarantee dominance's destruction. But bringing out dominance never let me to win. It also forces you to play more Destiny Hero which does not combo well with other heroes as Destiny Heroes can't do anything on it's own. So, yeah. Dystopia is much more versatile and combo friendly than Dominance.
@@halvarianknight4477 nah. Dragoon's the one that can revive itself as long as you have a D-Hero in your graveyard during the Standby Phase; he can also delete a monster while doing some burn damage if: a) it can be targeted and b) you don't care about not having your battle phase that turn. The one you are thinking of is Neos Krieger.

Any time I get back into YuGiOh I check to see if heroes are still a halfway viable option to play with. And it always warms my heart that they are.
Dark Law and Acid would be devastating in Duel Links.
Same with absolute zero 😍 one day. One dayyyyyy. Lol maybe.
@@thegamingreaper1293 lmao, Absolute Zero > Mask Change > Acid.
Auto surrender.
That's not true once it leaves the field it effect goes off not matter what.
@@tcoren1 It's not being shuffled though when Returned to extra deck.
@@tcoren1 It's not that it doesn't count as leaving the field, but effects cannot be activated in the deck.
9:00, cleaned house with Greater Polymerization. Trinity couldn't be affected by card effects and inflicted piercing damage to DEF monsters
I thought malicious bane is going to be on this list its the best
Absolute Zero is insane, fusion summon it and then instantly Mask Change it to Masked HERO Acid and you can just wipe your opponents field while getting an extra 100 attack. I’ve done that plenty of times
Am I the only one who noticed that Vision Hero Adoration has two S's in the word Fusion on its card text?
Oh boy, another misprint!
Good eye
Did you forget about Bane? Lol he’s easily the 2nd best HERO fusion.
thats what I thought, too. I'd probably just throw adoration off there and put bane on #2
@@Baum9797 Bane doesn't see any competitive play, were as Adoration sees tons of it. Thats basically the metric used here.
@@TheDuelLogs that's fair enough, bane was just the 2nd really good fusion monster that came to my mind after DL, so I was Co fused. Also I liked that you included Sunrise even tho he's technically not tcg yet.
Keep the good content comming :)
@@TheDuelLogs Bane sees a ton of competitive excuse me?
@@TheDuelLogs Bane is literally the only rason people run aduster gold and dark calling?
I want a tokusatsu series with a bunch of the Hero monsters. I'd probably like Hero monsters more if I didn't think of freaking Judai every time they're mentioned.
Masked hero Koga is also pretty good hero that wasn't included in the video See's a lot of play in duel links but not top tier .
I don't play Yu-Gi-Oh, but I like to see these kind of videos.

Remember playing hero's as an anti meta Strat back when the omni hero's first were coming out. I don't even think the dark one was out yet. Super poly always caught people off guard. Loved using the opponants Trish.
Thanks for this list. I run 2 Absolute Zero and Dark Law cards in my deck. I need Masked Hero Acid as well but I also run Koga and Divine Wind. Probably not the best cards but I like to think they serve a purpose.
Don't forget Destiny HERO Denier who can get a banished Destiny HERO Malicious back into the deck to use its effect again
(also form change can be used on dangerous to get out Masked hero dark law)
Congrats on 100k subs!!
Thanks!
The Kamen Riders, I mean, Masked Heroes coming in clutch!
best thing about dark law is that it is a soft once per turn, so if you have 2 on the field, you will banish 2 cards from your opponent's hand if they add a card from their deck
true, i am a duel links player exclusively, but one of my favorites is elemental HERO core. for the decks that play it, it is a simple generic 3 monsters that any card in the deck can satisfy (as long as the card is a monster) for materials. on top of that, it is very difficult to beat over, as the opponent has to have more than double its 2700 attack (unless they can change its battle position), and also acts as a great "noob trap". then its second effect blows up 1 monster of the controller's choice during the end phase if it battled (optional, cant miss timing).
10 is an elemental hero, after all. not to mention that core can revive it to get a second search out of the same card.
its me, the duel links player that clapped when he saw anki. love that boi
I did same thing
I love your vids! Keep em coming! I got back Into yugioh a while back and most of it is because of you're vids 🙂
I just wanna say congrats on 100K! Well deserved 🤘
Dystopia syncs with destiny tactics that raises D heros atrack by 400 each turn so you get to use Dystopia's effect every turn
And if you didn t guess who is number one it s dark law
And congratulation for 100k
7:16
Ah yes, Vision HERO Adoration. My favourite FUSSION monster
Yugo summon
In Master Duel For some Reason Absolute Zero's effect doesn't work when it's returned to the ED,
Some say cause it's returned facedown.
I think that new Evil Hero card should’ve been on this list.
Pops all monsters and has immunities and gains attack.
Wow this video contained the best explanation of missing timing I've ever heard
Me personally i like wlemental hero core, solid effect, and easy to summon with stratos combo fetching 3 heros. Because of the stratos being in duel links, i have a nasy deck
As a seasoned hero player with fusion destiny you can send elemental hero shadow mist for dangerous because it's a dark eff monster which makes you go plus
Flame/Shining Flare Wingman could have been a honorable mention, and maybe even Gaia and Nova.
Also as a video idea, a Top 10 Pointless Cards in Duel Links
Flame Wingman has never seen competitive play and is composed of two bricky vanillass.
6:19
Oh... a legendary "FUSSION" monster xD
same XD
Anki is once per turn, but if you search for form change and use it to get dian out, you can SS shadowmist and get another mask change to then get out darklaw.(got to make sure not have already have a darklaw out because the monsters need to hit the GY)
oh god
i love that pun here in 13:25
'A harpies feather duster on legs' honestly just got me giggling more than it should have.
Top 10 best monsters in bad archetypes or top 10 best extremely difficult to summon monsters.
I'd be down for that as well.
Summons? #10 or honorable mention: Armed Dragon Catapult Cannon?
Yeah, I'd like a list of top ten boss monsters that are tough to get rid of but are extremely hard to summon myself as well.
I like this top 10 idea! I approve of this!
I'd like to see this as well. That Supreme King Z-Arc comes to mind but is a kick ass monster if you get it out. Though I got mad when someone Kaiju'ed it.
Damn, got that explanation on timing pretty quickly. Ty ty
Really surprised that Malicious Bane was not on this list
I know this video is a couple years old but Fun Fact:
Dystopia and Dangerous are even better now because you can link them with another HERO, Cross Crusader, and immediately use him to bring them back, which saves them from Fusion Destiny's destroy at the end phase. So you can basically get it out for free.
Plus if Malicious was used for Fusion destiny you can summon another to the field, link it with Cross Crusader to get Dread Decimator, increasing Dystopias ATK to use his destruction effect.
Did anyone else notice that Vision Hero Adoration has a typo? It says “fussion” instead of “fusion”
do you think you could make a deck revolving around turning vision hero trinity into a plant-type, then equipping it with thorns of malice, and then attacking the same monster 3 times as an otk?
Evil hero malicious bane: am I a joke to you?
True
Not generic enough, maybe?
Destiny End Dragoon you can fusion destiny the card out and even tho its destroyed you can bring it back with its effect on your standby phase
Vision HERO Adoration is also unique in that it is the only "FUSSION" monster in the game.
Lol never notice that until now
The best HEROes come from the manga, very appropriate
The anime only has vanilla E. Hero monsters.
I used to run Dark Law + Mask Change II in my old Shaddollsworn deck, it made for some great combos.
vision hero adoration; You should point out that its commonly used as material for solid soldier. So that you can ss shadow mist ie SS darklaw
Anki is a hard once per turn, so the combo that you showed doesn't work
"The only Elemental Hero Fusion used in non-hero decks"
Wasn't there a Neos fusion that was being used for a while there before Dragoon was released?
Technically Rainbow Neos isn't a Hero
I think dominance should be on this list. Anyone else?
Ya
Yeah
Yeah. A big part of this list was how good fusion destiny is and that card was made specifically for dominance.
Anki is once per turn, also Mask Change II cant just use any monster, it has to be lower level than the monster you're summoning
@@koruoshouji9960 no you can't because Dark Law is lvl 6, meaning half the danger archetype (the example he used) can't be used
You can even activate mask change on absolute zero and summon acid to clear out all of your opponents cards on the field
Are @the duellogs can make a live stream video chat more just like that one before this video
I can believe duellogs use a live stream and I was watching it
I'm surprised Elemental hero core didn't get a mention, being able to destroy 1 card every time it battle and having a floating effect to special summon an lvl 8 or lower elemental hero ignoring summoning conditions in addition to doubling it's attack when it's attacked is per good imo, tho I can see why it's not great, it can only be fusion summoned, is an earth type elemental hero whose summoning effect only works on E hero's, it's pretty good in an elemental hero deck but doesn't fit into a hero deck very well
Sunriser doesnt give 200 for each monster when It is summoned, It is a continuous effect so it gives the Attack boost as long as It stays on the field
Nova master and absolute zero were my favorite Omni heroes I used in my deck
