This was great. I worked in the Stardust Hotel orchestra for the Lido de Paris and Enter the Night shows for 13 years. I used Industrial to arrive and leave. I have been in almost all the businesses including the Hardhat Saloon. I also had a friend Victoria Sands who worked at the Crazy Horse II as a cocktail waitress. She was there when the FBI raided the building with machine guns pointed at everyone. Buffalo Jim's auto electric was a less than honest establishment as well. I took my truck there and they wanted to rewire my entire truck even though just a bulb was burned out. I did get the wooden Buffalo Jim tokens that he handed out because he was once a professional wrestler. Good tour.

Wonderhussy did a good job on her video. Without question - there is tons upon tons of history regarding Industrial Road.

One of my favorite dive bars in Vegas is a bit farther down Dean Martin Drive just before Blue Diamond, The Rusty Spur Saloon. Tiny place but lots of character, I tend to spend an inordinate amount of time there when I'm in Vegas just because it feels like the old school "Mom and Pop" bars I've always loved that are becoming harder and harder to find.
A friend from High School stripped for a while causing a stir. The club she danced at used her photo to advertise in the local underground newspaper for 20 years after she left.
Over many years my wife and I spent much of our free time in small town low rent strip clubs. It was in one of those clubs we often met a new upcoming young comedian named Richard Pryor. Yup, it happened in Peoria. We had friends who stripped part time ........ and a wife who did mostly at amature nites. In New Orleans at a famous club on Bourbon St she won $500 first place and $500+ in tips. The audience was into mature older large breasted ladies of the nite. A week later she lost to a group of lesbians. We didn't know it was lesbian nite! That sorta took her out of the amaturish qualifications. To strip there, she had to be employed, at least on paper. Life was good in the good ole days.

Actually enjoy the various Museums in Vegas, was not familiar with your new recommendation (LOL) but The Mob Museum, Atomic Testing Museum, and original Vegas Site were all worth a stop.
The Clark County museum outside of town in Henderson is really cool ---- they have a "Heritage Street" ... outdoor portion where they've moved & assembled buildings from various times in Nevada history ... from a house in the 1920s to a 1940s print shop and a cool little "airplane tour" office....
The Pinball Hall Of Fame Museum is fun too. Our cab driver didn't know about the Atomic Testing Museum until we had him drive us there. He said he'd recommend it to tourists looking for something different in the future.

We used to have very prestiges meetings with a shit ton of money being exchanged and spent at gentleman's clubs. The guys feel better about being there but just uncomfortable enough to prove they have class
I'm 56, 300 pounds and I'm a dude - think I can pull off rocking those badass boots? Even your video editing was stylish!
Order the Tetanus shot.
You're a great gritty tour guide.
Another top notch informative video and methnks that it was supremely presented Sarah-🇬🇧👠
The glasses coming down is my favorite 😂😎😎
That was very informative. I haven’t been back to Vegas in 15 years. This makes me want to come back. By the way, Your body is amazing!
Model A Denny very cool story that would be infinitely better with pictures of the wife. I kid
@@ducknorris233 Many things are possible with an email address. Sadly my wife passed on over five months ago. These posts and my old stories to look back on almost keeps me from going insane.
Model A Denny I’m very sorry to hear about your sweet wife. Heard someone say once that “we are all going to leave someone alone or be left alone”. So true but not comforting and rather makes for high anxiety in me. My wife has had a host of health issues over the recent years but I am seriously counting on going first myself. Would offer you some helpful advice but should probably taking advice from you instead.
@@modeladenny1218 I lost my wife 20 years ago, April 8th. I wish I could offer some profound words of wisdom, but all I can say is you'll get used to it -- remember the good stuff, the fun times, and muddle through as best you can.
Every now and then I come across something on TH-cam that makes me NOT HATE these TH-camrs…. Congratulations 🎉
Thought I was going to flip onto another site . You kept me watching for the whole segment. This is very rare for me I'm easily distracted. Great content, you are one hell of a story teller, peace out !!
What an awesome presentation! Your talent for documentary type narratives is amazing. Keep up the great work 👍🏾
Totally getting 80 vibes from her style. Love it😅
Actually enjoy the various Museums in Vegas, was not familiar with your new recommendation (LOL) but The Mob Museum, Atomic Testing Museum, and original Vegas Site were all worth a stop.
How could she stand there and not read out the sign "Puppetry of the Penis - Live on stage"
well girl, you make anything interesting. Love your vids!
Ok baby, I'm finally watching this !! Thanks !!
Okay, you have really outdone yourself. I really love your videos. They are always interesting and informative, but this one was a whole other level. You really are a gifted vlogger. You do very thoughtful and intelligent sharing of your observations. Awesome.
I miss Vages very much! and the surrounding mountains I'll be back soon, really like your content always fun, and very informative
SO GLAD I STUMBLED ON THIS LOL GREAT DOC
I can only take the dipping of the sunglasses so many times before I gave up.
Gee, let her be her
Great video. Thank you. You are a "hoot" in a very good way. 🌹
You rock! Superlative to your video productions! And your world-class senses of humor and decency.
Love this story Sarah, interesting stuff. All cities have their own industrial road. Monmouth street in Newport Kentucky was the original sin city. When the heat got too hot for the mob, they went out west and built Las Vegas. Lol. Truth is stranger than fiction babe
Boy oh boy I had some fun on Monmouth st. Good ol Trixies Delight or the standard Brass Ass, if you knew your way around that area you could find ANYTHING you filthy heart desires and I mean anything.
In Seattle, WA, they actually had a street called Skid Row, where lumber and logs were once hauled to or from the ocean. It became a term.
THANK YOU for being so respectful and considerate of the peeps living in the tunnels, and not wanting to exploit their situation by going down there uninvited. 💜 If I hadn't already subscribe to your channel, I would have subscribed as soon as I heard you say that. Thank you for being YOU!!! 🥰 Also, great vid! Entertaining, informative... the whole shebang. 😊
Those tunnels don't belong to the BUMS...she can go wherever she wants
@@CmonstoleCmonstole my brother was severely mentally ill, too sick to work, and if it wasn’t for my dad letting him live in his rental he would have been on the street. Approximately 80% of homeless are mentally ill and self medicating because the prescription medication out there is crap and makes them feel numb. I hope you don’t think I’m preaching I’m just trying to call attention to what serious mental illness looks like.
