Not to be a party pooper but once turbo and superchargers came out (which was a long time ago), almost anything with an engine can make 1000hp....

The community is getting huge, the G35’s and G37’s are blowing too, I just lost my 2015 Q50 VQ37 Premium because an old lady crashed into my car and totaled it, I’m waiting for insurance now but I’m debating if I should go back to Infiniti or if I should just get my dream car the E63 Brabus 800, it’s like $137k but it’s in a Germany dealership I don’t know if I want to go through all that work

you should probably get some sway bars if you don't have them already. they really helped the floaty feeling on my f10 535 which is a freakin tank if you know.

Own a lil 6 speed Elantra N as my track toy. Drive a company Redsport a lot and god damn could never imagine a 1000hp Q50. 100% Think a q50 Redsport would be my daily in the near future. Solid car!

Maybe your traction control there’s a clip under the gas pedal unplug it when the car is in neutral then you’ll fully have trc off

Q50 Owner here and I can say one thing I absolutely hate about my 3.0T is the very unresponsive transmission 😢
For daily driving it does feel laggy but when you really get on it, it does fairly well during actual shifts. It does need to be snappier though.

Built Transmission by Pure? If so I’m curious to see how it holds up on the track. Especially with @txboostlife having issues with level 10 trans and being forced to do a manual swap to hold 800 plus hp and tq….
It’s been holding fine to this day on the street and two track passes. Hopefully tomorrow it doesn’t rain and we get to push it harder, but it’s the only transmissions upgrade recommended. LVL10’s are garbage.

Tire setup?
How often do you see knock on the car? After the tune mine occasionally jumps up to -1 to -3 once or twice in a 20ish minute drive. I've been told by the tuner not to worry about it, the car is only 450whp right now and I want to make more power but I'm concerned about whether I should address the knock issue first or if it's normal.
Often knocks isn’t normal and shouldn’t be ignored. 0 knock is always your target, but it has been said that between -1 to -2 is acceptable. I still don’t buy it. I wouldn’t be happy with any knock. If it happens once in a while it might be phantom knock or bad gas.
Does it happen in low RPM and more than 40% throttle? That’s LSPI. Some oils can also help with LSPI, but just don’t put high load under low RPM’s.
What fuel? Some fuel is just garbage and can contribute to knock. Change gas stations and add some E into the tank. See if that helps it if not you might just need to modify the tune a bit.
@@ZillaFullBoost it's always at 1500 and 3000 rpm with slightly faster than average acceleration. No knock on hard pulls or casual acceleration. Gas is 93 octane from chevron and wawa (3-4 different stations). What is LSPI?
Edit: also never knocks until car is warmed up
Edit 2: Looked up LSPI and it sounds a lot like what's happening. Any recommendations for specific engine oil to prevent it?
With that 900+ WHP and slicks, that car has to do 9.8@141-142, and on Diet, 9.5@145. An M3 (which is 300 lbs lighter) with 750 whp runs 9.9@144-145.
Just work with it and you will make it!😉
Ams had 800whp and they went 9.96 this should a little faster

@@ZillaFullBoost Yea that would be a good question to ask. Because the VQ platform was known for having head lift issues at higher HP. If the VR30 could hit 1000 HP without head lift issues that would be a complete game changer for Nissan.

Yea mine does too. Put coilovers and corner balance the car with the weight of the driver in it and it should alleviate the pull.

We’re having LC issues with it. Not sure Eid Pure Drivetrain added a higher stall, but the ones in the Q’s have a 2500 from the factory.

Just piston, rods and a pair of garrett’s G25-550 powered through a Pure Drivetrain Solutions transmission.
Fuel: XDI HPFP and Injectors, custom LPFP set up.

The car hasn’t been pushed over 150-160 so top speed in not known.
The 7th gear ratio in the stock tran will ,on paper, hold 212 mph maximum. On paper.
