- As development on the Q platform continues to be pushed, Mikhail's Q50 reset the world record making it the quickest & fastest Q in the world! In today's episode, we look over some of the key moments over the past 5 months and see what progression was made. Lastly, we showcase the testing and data collection process with our soon-to-be-released VR30 intercoolers. More information will be available upon the official release announcement. Wow! Few years ago, my choices were gla45 amg, audi s4 3.0t supercharge or this Infiniti q50. It was hard to choose after test driven all of them. I am glad I bought this car. It's so underrated car that will surprise many enthusiasts. Thank you for putting this car on the map

I always thought of getting a q but since this b58 and vr30 battle i second guessed it. But the simple way you guys explain the how the car works with upgrades shows that most people don’t know a lot about the tune capacity of these cars.

Personally I’m excited about the release of the 400z so we can get more performance shops working on this engine. Nothing against AMS but more minds working on a project will help us enthusiasts get options and hopefully better prices.

@@ACommenterOnTH-cam it’s the same engine in the 400z and once it is available (like it is now) there will be more options for performance parts . Many people don’t look at the Q50/60 with the VR30 as a performance option.

That's badass!! Still looks like a normal street car too.. I have an 05 G35 Sedan 6spd that I'm slowly building, and every mod is exciting. As a disabled vet, my builds gonna take a bit to finish though. Lol! So awesome seeing what can be done with the Q platform, keep up the great work! 🏎💨

When doing 0-60 or 0-100 after a couple pulls a notification pop up “awd temp high” is there anything to keep it cooler?

Now with the Z almost here time for an AMS manual swap for the Q50/60!
Are these two different cars/setups? (Gray Q50’s) I just happened to notice that for some of runs there’s an AWD badge and it seems to be an AWD car but then in another run the AWD badge isn’t there and the car was heating just the rear tires it looks like. Kinda threw me off lol.
Edit: I’m now assuming the car has a Syvecs or other similar AWD controller which allows for a burnout mode and lots of other adjustments to the center diff/awd system.

This platform is just like where the GTR's, R8 and Huracans were at one point in time. The quickest ones were only in the 10's 9's and then 8's. It takes time, research, and development to push a platform to the next stage. 8's are happening.
