- We finally got the world's highest hp q50 red sport back out on the track for the second time. The first time the car didn't hook at all and then a couple runs it blew a spark plug. This time, well let's just say nothing went as planned. The 3rd time is the charm though and the car is ready with new mods so stay tuned for the next video as we leap towards reaching the world record for the fastest q50 in the world.

Things are not always going right behind the screen on social media or YT. I think it's fair to show the good and even the struggles one goes through. Round 3 here we come 💪
We hot lapped the car that one time I mentioned it after running it in the daily map(car was not really hot being it was a very low boost and the car was sitting for 1hr30mins waiting for a revsiion) I added all the videos together so it seems as if we ran everything back to back but we were there for 6 hours and made 8 passes. There was about 30mins to 1hr of cool down but it wasn’t enough.
As the night progressed the car was not cooling as fast especially after turning up the boost. The factory IC’s are no good for upgrades turbos and the smaller AMS HX doesn’t provide enough cooling either.

We’re testing an ice box first but an interchiller is an option down the road.

Great video bro I can’t wait to see you now learn the car. I would for sure activate the meth even if you don’t tune for it, put in smaller nozzles in then to keep your intake air temps down.
Thanks bro and yea we’re not looking to tune for it yet. I totally forgot we had the meth and I never turned it on 🤦🏽♂️ that night was a mess 😆
@@ZillaFullBoost oh yea, on my build I’m not using meth for power only using it for cleaning and cooling since it’s direct injection. And if your pump goes out while you are tuned you can blow a motor and I don’t wanna risk that and I bet it’s prolly the same with you.
Yea it does well as a safety measure. Kind of prefer it that way too.

I have to learn the car. It feels a little different than my blue red sport. I want to maximize the power band and shift as late as possible. I think he raised the limit we just can’t push it too hard because it has the OEM valve train.

Do a chiller killer install video. The ultimate VR30 cooling mod for the track the only way to go or a icebox setup.
This car got an Ice box installed already. I’ll make a video on the interchiller soon.
Curious would you benefit with swapping the intercoolers with dropbear and going with the AAM or new AMS heat exchanger.
Oh and the fact this car made 1k hp on a 2.5" exhaust 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
That’s an option, I just wish DB released more data on it. It currently has the small AMS HX so it would benefit from the larger race version.
And yea I was surprised to see 2.5” when I went underneath the car.

Nice build I can see how harder you work on the car but at that limits look like the car isn't happy, probably work better at lower boots with less power

I can literally red line 1st gear with ams tune and not experience this throttle cut. Sometimes this happens with race box if I just hold first gear for a few seconds before full throttle and shift into second and no where near red line. I can’t stand it.
You have two Q’s or switched tuners?

The black car is an OEM black paint
I don't know that doesn't look like a 1000 hp runs whether you were sandbagging or not, either you got some kind of fault or boost cut or the car is not actually at that power mark.
I think we got it figured. The MAF and fuel pressure sensor was giving issues. Not to mention the temperatures were hot, we have humid weather and 1800+ DA. It’s also a Full weight car with a sound system. It’s the perfect recipe for a bad time. We will be back out soon.

seems like a very slow 1000hp car.. seems more like 500-600hp
It’s not a 600hp car. My blue RS is 600hp. This car was just getting heat soaked. Boost was being reduced lowering the power for the runs. The car is also full weight with a 150-200lb sound system.

Assuming you haven't had much track experience, you can't hot lap A2A cars you definitely can't hotlap these cars, actually they suck ass for drag racing with the factory A2W setup, your lucky you didnt hurt it doing what you did.
Hot lapped it once when I accidentally ran the car in map 1 after that we waited like 30mins to an hour but the temps were still high
We in fact had the best run after “hot lapping” the car because the car was sitting for an hour and a half waiting on the tuner to send a revision.
The car was in the daily map so no boost was being made which the car wasn’t really hot, hence the best time we had all night.
We also tried to drive the car up and down the side road to get ambient air flowing through the HX right before a run which helped a bit but not enough.
@@ZillaFullBoost yea im sure, i waited 2 hrs with ice packs on the cores and cycling the pumps the whole time and my shit was still roasting, only way to do it properly is with a generator and a fan while cycling the pumps in the pit
@@ZillaFullBoost part of the problem is if your running the AMS HX your soaking up radient heat off the radiator, so the only way is a big fan that moves a ton of air to cool the radiator and hx, and then push it into the lanes until its time to run
Yup, we’re going out with fans next time and using the consult III to cycle the pumps. Mix that with the icebox and the meth im pretty sure next time we will be well prepared.

It’s made 904rwhp. The car was having issues, but since then it’s been dialed in a bit and ran a 9 sec pass with more in it once it’s completely dialed in

@@danny25705 this is its first time at the track I would love to see you do from 600 ish to 900-1000 in a rwd platform. I’m going from 400 to 800 and it’s still stupid hard to control.
