- The build is complete and I am officially on the road full time! There have already been a lot of highs and lows since starting... but overall this has been an incredible experience so far! In this video I share the first three weeks of van life: traveling from Austin, Texas all the way to Arizona.

Hi Maddie, I am loving your style of vlogs and I am looking forward to the future of your channel I was disappointed the van build ended so quickly. So flashback to the build would be nice especially the electrical. Keep up the videos you have a lot of talent.

Safe to say that you had a great start to your van life adventures after watching this video! Such beautiful scenery. So relaxing and a great reminder to stop and look at everything around you that this amazing life has to offer! Also, keep being you! Post any and every thing that you want. We are here to see the real you, the real journey and everything in between. Don’t over think the content, then it becomes too “staged”. Stay yourself and trust me your channel will grow extremely fast!

You just confirmed for me to get my windows ceramic coated. Heat protectant AND rock protectant.
It's so good to see a young person striking out on their own, leaving all the corporate crap behind and just exploring. Can I recommend a couple of books I use to enjoy on the road way back when I was young - Trout fishing in America by Richard Brautigan, and Leaves Of Grass by Walt Whitman.

I think it's smart and better to travel while you are young ( you will have more energy and probably fewer health problems) as you would while you are older. But I know its not always doable because it can be expensive, etc. Great vlog btw.

Maddie you personify joie de vivre and I love seeing you and your dog running together through the park just enjoying the freedom. I love the decorative motifs in your van and the beautiful woodwork. You really did a very good job on the build and the shelves you put in. You are a beautiful young woman with stunning eyes and a magnetic personality and I have the strong feeling that you exude positive energy that's infectious. There's something really soothing and invigorating about everything you do even the picture of your ramen that you cooked.
I love the lagoon that you and Eliza found. And birdwatching is a passion of mine too. Love the crystal clear waters you and your friends found and the path on the hillside with wild agaves growing on it. And the view from the pine covered mountain top. This video makes me so happy.
I just found your channel. I really like your setup and was hoping to see how u planned it out so u knew how things would fit. And what order to do things during the installation. But I get wanting to move on with the fun stuff too. Enjoy yourself!

I'm glad you mentioned about the missing vlogs of the your build, I thought I missed a click somewhere. I really wanted to see your electrical build, since you seemed so psyched to get to it. I've been looking at all the different, something I'm sure you can relate to, builds on doing a solar system. If you do someday put those video's together, I'd be really interested. Oh and the bloopers part at the end of your early vlogs before, were funny. Pet Eliza and tell her she has a fan. Take care both of you and stay safe.
Hi Maddie…..I am really getting to love you and your videos so I subscribed. You are so cute with a neat personality. I wonder how you were able to afford the van and start doing this so young. You are so confident and smart too. You do an excellent job of filming with your phone. Nice editing too. I have traveled lots and have been to Fossil Creek, White Sands, Grand Canyon, Big Bear (other video), etc. would be so fun to travel with you. And by the way….you are a terrific dancer. DEF is Diesel Exhaust Fluid, just an FYI, do NOT put DEF in the fuel tank and do NOT put Fuel in the DEF tank.

Really cool. Great job on the van. I'm 9 years in. First a class c RV I fixed up. Now a 4 season 23 foot Fifth wheel.
When making pizza in the oven, first put sauce on the dough, make sure you have flour one the bottom so that it doesn't stick, OK set the oven at 450 and put the dough with only the sauce in the oven for 10 minutes. Once the dough is cooked take the pizza out and add the mozarella and toppings and cook for another four minutes or until the cheese melts. If you cook the cheese for ten minutes the way you did you will burn the cheese because the cheese does not need ten minutes of cooking.
