Ummm.... The Car wizard has a channel. And this is really Jareds channel, I don't know specifics of how he's paid, but this channel was dead before Jared took it over.
I think either Hoovie or WatchJRGo (more likely John than Tyler) has addressed why Johnny doesn't have a channel, but I would sub if he started one.

Having different weights on each side seems weird to me... shouldn't they be identical. Otherwise its gunna screw ur diff up.
if the rollers are connected together it should not matter and i believe they are connected in one big assembly.

I've heard many stories online of Mustang dynos 'reading' high on the power and tq side and correction factors not being used correctly to make it seem better.

My 0-60 is 3.8 second and I know it has a weight just over 2100# for the local scales and it feels like it has that and more but sometimes I’m thinking 240hp stock to 330 is a large just but S54 with 6 speed smg and 8200rpm I can see it but now I want a retest. It’s been 17 years since my last dyno
Jared prepared my MKIV for the dyno a few years ago. Actually, he was just fixing a problem that appeared minor on the surface but needed his expertise to find the root cause(s)!!! As part of the tuning, they measured mine at 471rwhp at 15.5 psi. We kept it below 500 since it has the stock automatic.
It is still running great, Jared. Silver 1994 with the engine dressup you also installed and the racing head you installed. Lopes like a V8!
that might explain the channel with 4 or 5 honda 4 bangers pushing 1000-1200 hp ..... i watched their videos and i just dont see them being legit

I worked 7 years for Chrysler back in 1998 -2005, and i was told you can fake a chassi dyno numbers. Now I know how you do it, great video thanks.

I had 17" TSW's on my 1987 RX7 GXL that looked EXACTLY like those BBS' on this Supra
what about tuning shops making the dyno show less power? Is that a thing? Asking because I dynoed my car at 370hp, later I bought a new ECU with a different tune, took my car to a totally different dyno because its closer and cheaper, they showed 305hp, I put the old ECU in to double check and it was 317hp.
You should definitely have made it a more realistic number. If it was 400hp I reckon Freddy would have reacted better. Lol

This is exactly why I always go with the lowest dyno numbers and then usually take another 10% off. It's amazing how many 1,000whp cars I've beat in my 500whp civic. Or my 900whp mustang vs 1,500whp anything else lol.
Nice-looking Mark 3 Supra Jared! Those cars were my thing for about 10 years. I owned half a dozen of them at least. My last one had a T70 turbo, tubular Mani, E85 tune, and a number of other mods and it did make about 600 horse. I miss that car. That's how I got my screen name :-)
Without doing the dyno, you know the "max value" of those old Japanese cars, and it's 280, because well.... It was limited at thas power ^^

Here in Germany we have a guy who can calculate your cars power by your dragy times/ mostly by the time you can do 180 to 190kmh/ 110to 116mph and some other factors like (obviously) the weight of your car or the slope angle.
The impressive this is, though, that he is always within like 5hp of the actual power number..and sometimes people say that he's more accurate than many dynos 😂

You're Supra how you have a setup is literally my favorite car in the world save a 99-3000gt V-r4 in red that's just cuz my first car was a 99 3000GT base model in red so it looked the part but was slow at first.....

The channel needs a popular car to mess with like an older BMW or Mercedes. I'm sure it would explode quite quickly then, and I believe that's how Hoovie and Tavarish got big too, by showing off the same S class Merc.

A guy one of my friends knew had a little tuning shop with a dyno. We were all in a bar one night and started chatting about funny story's from what each of us did for a living. He mention that he get's sick of the ricer kids that come in after fitting some "Guarantied 50+ extra BHP" piece of plastic Chinese tat to their car, then act like it was his fault when they find that they're now actually down on power. He said that so many of that type of customer would get the results saying their heap was barely making the 140BHP it had from new and ask him if there was anything he could do to make it show that it was actually putting out a bit over 200? They'd say it was for blagging rights with friends, or some equally stupid reason. he did a handful of these inflated number sheets when he was just starting out, But he stopped after he saw a couple of these cars hitting eBay showing his doctored printouts as proof that the car was "Tuned" !
Last I heard, He'd sold the shop. Too many people would get pissed with him when he'd refuse to remap things like badly maintained 200+k mile totally standard and thoroughly clapped out golf turbo diesels that the owners wanted 80+bhp/100+Nm maps putting on. He'd explain that their car's engine wasn't in a fit state to take the power hike, And if he just did it and took their money they'd be back in a couple of months to complain that "his tune had blown up their car", But most customers didn't want to hear that, and you can only spend so much time every evening trawling the net to catch and correct the very vocal few he'd turned away who were now on forums saying that he was making up excuses that their perfect car was in fact broken, and he was obviously a faker who couldn't be trusted not to break your car if you were stupid enough to go to him !
He said that he was "Finding it increasingly hard not to punch certain types of customer squarely in the face, and not stop punching until they stopped twitching" !!!! So he felt it was time to call it a day and find something else to do (Heard he went on to setup a little courier company. Must be doing OK now everyone's shopping online !).
It seems that whatever the industry, Some customers were always just born to be arseholes ! :D
Mount Everest? The software will not actually let you run that high. The pressure is ~300 mbar which is about 4.4 PSI. Which the software will not let you use as we saw.
Always ask for a dyno print out with and without weather correction. It’ll tell you right away whether or not they’ve messed with weather correction numbers at least. Also a baseline pull overlaid with the modified pull helps too. If you think you should only be picking up 50-100hp and it picks up twice that, there’s possibly shenanigans going on.

Without naming names, are there any TH-cam channels you may feel cheat the dyno to make the show/shop look better. This is one way to drawl more views by bumping numbers and making it look like your shoo is the tuning master. Even playing numbers to add 10 to 25hp more on an exhaust, turbo, intake, or other mod could ship more product. With a claim like results will vary. Can get you out of legal trouble. You can claim it's high milage, you must have an issue elseware, or your tuner is doing something wrong can keep you skating away with the money.
You should have faked it for 420hp, believable enough to worry Freddy and a number worthy of bragging.
Honestly, I don't care about the car, the dyno, or any of this wrenching stuff. I'm here for Pyrrha.
My car has 1270 hp, unfortunately it looses a little through the drivetrain and only has 285 whp.
Biggest issue I have had with Avalon King is that their shipping (DHL) sucks. Ordered on Dec 5, and forecasted to get to me on the 17th. Was hoping to do the stuff this weekend, and hope that it is great as all you guys say.

most stories I've read about bogus dyno claims are with Mustang Dynos. From what I've heard there are more things that can be manipulated than with Dynojets
Well you can always ask for non-weather corrected readings from the dyno but even then i think less reputable ones might configure the dyno to wrong weight "barrels" to show too high numbers. Also you could go to different dyno's to verify the numbers.
