Yeah. The higher shutter speed does really help with micro-jitters. I'd like to see it at night in the city though. I also like the look of the action cams with infinite focus and no bokeh for things like this so you can see the entire background. That's why I loved your vlogs where you put the Action 4 facing outward and the Pocket 3 facing you with the bokeh so you would be the center focus. I liked the edit for this one better. The way you switched between the two cameras felt very natural and in sync with the dialogue. I think on your previous ones you did more of the picture in picture which didn't work as well, in my opinion.
Hey Tim, I think the micro -jitters would be more noticeable at night despite the bumped up shutter speed. But, for Action 4 owners, they can always get a gimbal if they don't have the Pocket 3. Thanks for the feedback on the dual camera recording. I should just use the Action 4 as a POV more often (hahaha)
Amazing. How did you figure all this out? I’m a photographer and this is not widely known even in the photography community. Did you just find it out by accident?
Hello, I would like to say I figured this out on my own 😂, but I gotta give a shoutout to @MikeFromKorea on quadrupling the shutter speed from the frame rate to keep the jello/micro-jitters at bay!
I have the action 2 and I just got the action 4, 3 days ago I sold my action 3. I like the 2 but it over heats here in las Vegas on hot days. Love video 👍 keep up great work
Dude! Where are you?!?! Post more!!!!! You know I have the action 2 but I barely use it for some odd reason :( I too like the form factor. I think it's the best looking action cam ever made. Looks great man.
@@TravelingAhn You were cranking out videos left and right. I'm not used to not seeing your face on my YT feed lol. I hope all is well. Yea,h I pretty much stopped working out and substituted it with Muay Thai. Probably not the best idea at my age but I'm having fun.
Ok so I played around with the settings you describe and I was able to make the action 4 really perform in low light. This is how Couple things to note Action4 in low light 24 fps 4k Turn off low light enhancement it makes oil painting 4K24 RS WB auto aka AWB Color normal, should be able to use dlog m FOV standard dewarp Low light enhancement off. If you enable it then image enhancement doesn't take effect Image enhancement sharpness -2 and noise reduction -2 Exposure 1/100 and iso 100 to 12800 aka max iso range Output is grainy but good Low light enhancement makes it oil painting do not use!
Action2 very cool cam. IF you understand its limitations. Personal bodycam. Super neat little thing. Gets super hot. I use just the little main cube. Then dump to the second cube with the screen. Got another cube without screen. Friggin cool device. I use it in public all the time and barely ever it noticed. Nearly never.

Definitely going to get the neck mount right after this video.. lol
Yeah, I love having it in this type of POV setting!
@@TravelingAhnwhat's the neck mount you got? The dji one?
I just bought Action 4 Adventure Combo, does Action 4 no problem international flight from Canada to Philippines?
Correct, I did not have any problems flying with the batteries.
Do not giveup keep creating. You are doing good. Be more regular

Oh, yeah...Vegas would definitely do that to the Action 2 (hahaha) Thanks for the feedback!
This looks great Adam! The shutter speed does magic for the micro-jitters!
Thank you Antonio!

@@noisackda2564 That sounds intense, gotta take a look at your video now!
Ok so I played around with the settings you describe and I was able to make the action 4 really perform in low light. This is how
Couple things to note
Action4 in low light
24 fps
4k
Turn off low light enhancement it makes oil painting
4K24 RS
WB auto aka AWB
Color normal, should be able to use dlog m
FOV standard dewarp
Low light enhancement off. If you enable it then image enhancement doesn't take effect
Image enhancement sharpness -2 and noise reduction -2
Exposure 1/100 and iso 100 to 12800 aka max iso range
Output is grainy but good
Low light enhancement makes it oil painting do not use!
That's awesome, yeah 24fps ia going to give you the best possible result for sure! Thanks for sharing 🙏
Senang sekali aku melihat vlog ini karna ada keterangan lengkap yg menyertakan settinganya 👍
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Cool video. Different. Neat. Got both of these. Neck mount looks good

Very True! I liked that DJI went outside of the box on this design!
@@TravelingAhnme too. Underrated. Unique. Has problems especially heat. Definitely room for improvement. Also very cool.
Action 2 is my bodycam
Nice! When its detached...is super small!
Your settings are workiny. Making the action2 look so good even in low light. Nice work. Ill have to find your settings if you posted em
It's in the video! The key is the quadruple Shutter speed to Frame trick!
@@TravelingAhnyou the man I missed it you have it all thank you!!!!
