Yeah, it's too bad we never got to see the STi for this generation. I remember Subaru stating that they couldnt make it because their proposed engine couldn't meet emissions standards. I'd bet that if they end up making an STi it would likely be hybridized.
I dont find this car at all compelling. 18 years ago the most exciting Subaru the STI had 300 HP, the most exciting BMW the M3 had 313 hp, today the M3 has over 500 hp while the most "exciting" Subaru has 274. there are so many better choice, Corolla GR, Golf R, Civic Type R, Q50 red sport 400
Respectfully disagree. Took a wrong turn in upstate New York near Vermont a few weeks ago and went down an unpaved road. The cladding protected the paint and I had some fun that typically wouldn’t be possible with any other sports car.
As of right now you can’t. I’ve seen aftermarket support for better brake kits for the VB that are probably more cost effective. I think if Subaru were to offer Brembo’s as OEM parts, that would likely come after the mid cycle refresh for the WRX in a few years.
I just don’t understand how Subaru puts that ugly plastic cladding around the wheel wells it looks like crap that would be the only reason I wouldn’t buy this car
A snow toy for sure :) bro.. i live in canada .. perfect all arounder.
I don’t think you can really compare this to type r or gr Corolla it’s more in civic si vw gti territory

Premium is just fine. Tr Price is just not worth it for bigger wheels and breaks.

The weak point is the stupid black plastic around the wheel wheels.

@@BostonAutoBlog And after all that, its still ugly..
@@ricktrue8441what do you drive
Can you get the Brembos as a part from Subaru dealerships to put on another WRX? Would this fit on a CVT? (I currently have a CVT base)
