It certainly looks good. I would take this if the lease was on deal. Infinitis are solid cars. My family had multiple models ,since the 90s no issues .

Love my 2025 QX50S, my second QX50, had a 2019. Great space, love the dual screens. Can play around with media with out interrupting navigation. Love the analog gauges. Guess I’m used to the power or I’ve sub consciously figured it out. The QX50 is under rated as far as I’m concerned. You don’t see a lot of them and it’s totally reliable. No issues at all on either of my QX50s.

Unpopular opinion but I actually think this gets a harder time than it deserves. Exterior is handsome and tasteful, yet still distinctively Infiniti, and I actually think just a few small changes could go a long way in freshening up that interior. I like a lot that they kept the physical HVAC controls and the well-integrated screens, but I’d just stitch those two screens together into one vertical one (a la RAM or Volvo), and give it whatever the latest Google/Android automotive software is. And I’m also one of the (admittedly few) people who prefers analog gauges, but okay fine, give it an all digital cluster if they really want. I do confess to missing the athletic RWD Infiniti driving experience, but I concede that we’re talking about the compact crossover segment here, and that’s far from a high priority in this segment. Hope Infiniti does what they can to keep this fresh and competitive in this segment.

Definitely curious to see how this evolves with the recently announced merger. Great review as always!

It's nice to see a respectable offering from Nissan/Infiniti. Thanks for this review. 🙂

I really love the interior color scheme. The design with the double screens in the center stack reminds me of what Honda was using in its Odyssey a decade ago.

Interior isn’t that dated, many other cars have smaller CarPlay screens even with a giant screen on paper. No wasted screen space is superior I’d pay extra on my next car to have analog gauges

Would prefer the updated Murano with conventional auto.

I would take the qx50 over the NX every single day even with the CVT.
The qx50 is quite simply a better vehicle than the NX from the exterior to the interior to roominess to performance for the dollar

It might be cheaper to buy, but the resale on these things is god awful. Buy a used one.

The new Murano (upper level trim) is the wiser choice.

Want something Japanese get something like a RDX that MAtt mentioned. its sporty and more reliable than that VC Turbo since it's entirely new engine design that still needs to be worked out for longetivity plus you get a proper automatic. And that SH-AWD is wonders. Something not exactly a luxury brand is Mazda with its CX-5 or CX-50.

Still, think this is striking on the road but the price is a huge miss. No wonder Inifiniti is struggling. Even lifting the interior out of the new Kicks would have helped this a ton!

Exterior remains fresh. The tech/I.P. in the center dash needs a re-fresh....stat!

    Slower Than a Lexus NX

I’m pretty sure the qx50 is way faster than nearly every nx. Except the 450h. But that 450h is significantly more expensive while not being significantly faster

These things FALL APART. I’ve driven a bunch of these that are a few years old and the seats all squeak horrible and move in their bracket like it’s broken. Every interior piece squeaks and rattles it’s so bad
