The Bible has some crazy blood soaked stories loads of myth and some good reasoning and of course terrible threats if you do not join up but it is in chronicle order mostly Not the Koran it’s a mess not in chronicle order at all they slapped it together big verses first diminishing .
Now if the Koran was in correct order you would see how mad Mohammed first preached peace so the Pagan Mecca would let him in the Pagan Kaaba then you would see him say satan had made him preach peace so he abrogated all the peace verses Satanic verses? And preached the sword that’s why the Pagan mecca chucked him out to go Medina and start on the Jews

@Ameena Rasheed She is surly smarter than woman who wear hijab because a man ordered them to do so. That man himsled would not wear it, but he will promise hell to women who wear it. .... And yes, a sixth century charlatan, who claimed that god has dispatch him to save humanity, also said to people that god order them to hand him 20% of their money, exempted him from laws he applied on them, and ordered some of them to surrender their wives to him. He constantly raided other villages and towns, and ransacked them. The most devastating claim he made (under the guise that god told him so), was that he is the best human ever lived, and mankind should follow and model their lives after him. 😂

What is embarrassing about advising people to follow that which Allah has commanded them to do? We all make mistakes and none of us is perfect, but if you see someone with a platform and influence encouraging immodesty and not advice them you are a participant in their sin.
I do not care about cultures. If something against Islam itself is being promoted you should advice with good intention and kind Adab. Every community in the world has its morals and red lines.
Every community judges people when they do things which are seen as wrong. There are no exceptions to this. Blaming the Muslim community for this is hypocritical and it doesn't make any sense.

@Zane the pain we've all heard it all before, but not a single reputable scholar from the very first generations to this very day would agree with the notion that covering your hair being any less than an obligation.
You know that there are different "opinions" about everything. Some people out there seek to normalise khamr, zina, liwat, and literally every single thing that doesn't fit with westernised standards. Where were all these opinions prior to colonialism? Be careful of who you take your deen from.
Bin laden had a different "opinion" about intentionally killing civilians in war but I don't see your telling anyone not to judge his actions. If you met him before the attack would you have adviced him or would you have said that not everyone can advice people about what is right or wrong?

Our sister Miriam is one of our great thinkers and intellectuals. May Allah give her ease and allow her work to reach millions. The fact remains that lots of non Muslims will listen to her as she’s relatable, and through her knowledge will be spread. That’s a good thing! Quran (9:5) - "So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters Pagans wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer (become MUSLIM) and pay the poor-rate < a tax on other religions… leave their way free to them." According to this verse, the best way of staying safe from a Muslim violence is to convert to. Islam Prayer (salat) and the poor tax (zakat) are among the religion's Five Pillars.

The prophet PBUH said "There shall come upon the people a time in which the one who is patient upon his religion will be like the one holding onto a burning ember." Tirmidhi 2260
The prophet prophesied that only few of the Arabs will be alive at the time of the anti christ meaning that Arabic speakers will be ethnically cleansed.
He prophesied that Arabs who live on non-Arab lands will be killed and prosecuted
He prophesied that scholars and people of knowledge in the religion will be killed

For people who actually listen to this to learn as opposed to learning in lessons and studying Islam from books of old, you are wasting your time and are misguiding your efforts. You are not going to learn anything here but peoples opinions, views and intellectual deductions. This comes from self amazement, self worth and sometimes pride.
The reality is the more simple you are in your approach the better it is for you. You do not need to be super smart, super analytical, have a doctorate, academic accolades, followers or subscribers. All you need to know is the Quran is Allah’s Speech which is an attribute of His, the Sunnah is accepted as long as it is proved authentic through the intricate science of Hadith. We implement what we find the in two whether we understand the logic or not as the companions did May Allah Be Pleased with them.
That’s it. Remember true intellect is that with coincides with the Quran and the Sunnah, whether you understand it or not.
It doesn’t matter if you ‘get it’ or not. Whether you agree with it or not. If you make a decision based upon your limited experience and even more limited intellect as opposed to guidance from The Most Wise, The All Knowing… well then let that sink in.
If Myriam was Muslim (linguistic meaning: someone who submits to the will of God) in her approach to life and religion… then she would wear the hijab and champion shyness as it is praised and ordained by the most high. To be a Muslim is not easy as then you have to put self amazement, self worth and your opinion of yourself aside and be content with being a servant and slave to Allahs every commandment, and Allah Knows Best.

We don't know why, only Allah knows and only Allah can judge. I get the point about men not pulling the weight. Then men problem??. From the beginning of time as far as i can remember and in all societies. But i do fear for sisters that wanna change the whole world in one go. The stress can break you. We all have limits. we can take so much. Circle of concern is one thing and circle of influence is another. Studies have shown that most extremist have watched so much violence that they go into overload mode that then leads to extreme reaction. If men are not doing the right thing, yes be part of things that will change but do not let the slow change or blatant denial lead you down the wrong path.

How many imams in this room are on Instagram ? 😑 I really loved this sister earlier on. Unfortunately her feminist views (probably) brought her to here...sjw...toxic masculinity..."there's no point hiding your head in the sand over it"...seeing these type scary changes happening in the west, I really don't want to move to the west. So much for those who bash muslims by saying "why do you want to move to the west from your Muslim country?". We wanted to move to the west because of functioning laws, but seeing this, I don't want to. Please keep this away from our countries as well.

I'm in my late 20s and I'm at university. A lot of the students here see me as their older Akhi and feel comfortable sharing their issues with me. I want to say I am so so ashamed that we have not given them better guidance, there is so much disunity and misguidance within the Muslim communities in the university environment.
People who will be the near future are leaders to the next generation of Muslims.
They have been left to figure things out on their own and unfortunately the few lessons they have learned from their elders are their bad habits.
Lack of knowledge, Akhlaq, and Adab.
The pious ones are silent and keep to themselves and are afraid to share knowledge.
The loud ones are aggressive and argumentative provoking disunity and spreading misinformation.
Do I hold my hands like this or that?
Do I do my tasbih like this or that?
No you can't do more than 8 rakahs for taraweeh that is bidah.
Why is the imams jummah khutba 30minutes long? He just keeps yapping on!
That imam thinks he's got that holy rizz init.
Ya Allah guide us and give us strength.
The things that the Muslim students had been chastised for since childhood seems to them to be the important message to convey about islam.
Instead of saying focus on learning al-fatiha and doing your prayer they are sending mixed messages. Allah help us, I am their fellow student, not their imam, or their community leader but they have come to me and I can't ignore their questions.
The amount of swearing I hear in the masjid, lack of respect for property and the environment, talking disrespectfully to each other and others
Sexualising the opposite sex, gossiping, and impropriety. la hawla wala quta ila Bila
I see pious Muslims coming at jummah prayer and in the evening they are drinking and partying. I say at least they went to the jummah but do they understand their prayers are not accepted?
These are not reverts/converts struggling, these are born and raised Muslims. Where did they learn this was even slightly acceptable?
How do you balance valuable criticism and not driving them away from the deen.
Everyday in the Muslim group chat, people are swearing, people criticise quotes FROM THE QURAN and are commenting "why are people so preachy?"
Imams please, get with the times, the young have so much messaging from their environment and they haven't been given good tools to deal with it
    It creates a terrible impression
Akhi, how am I meant to hold my hands during prayer?
Akhi, is it halal for me to go out on a date with a sister?
Akhi, I'm trying to tell this recent revert to Islam that she needs to wear a hijab and she keeps saying she is uncomfortable with it.
Where is the Adab and the akhlaq that they were meant to be raised on since childhood?
There are young Muslims who feel like it is ok to drink, or date, commit zina, or backbite against those who have memories the Qur'an and imams. because they are young and can find forgiveness. As we surely know, sin committed with the intention of forgiveness is grave.
The only short form advice I feel I can give is if the prophet (SAW) did it, do it, if the prophet didn't do it, avoid it. Focus on praying 5 times a day, once you do that try to be respectful to everyone, especially your elders, and strive to do good and conduct yourself respectfully so those that see and listen to you feel drawn and not repulsed by you.
I am not their imam, but when I do hear imams, they are busy rebuking the people who showed up for the jummah prayer because he only sees one row for the rest of the week. This isn't winning you any points, you're pushing them into the easy temptations that are just outside the masjid. Know your audience.

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatahu. I find it very sad to see our sister may Allah guide, Myriam Francois Cerrah to have gone from full hijab a few years ago, to what she is wearing now. I remember when I first embraced Islam I used to think Allahuma barik alayhi, a revert sister, well educated to be an example of Muslim orthodoxy for our sisters. Her lack of correct Islamic attire may Allah influence our sisters, especially new muslimahs to think that this level of covering is acceptable Islamically. Obviously our new sisters come begin their hijab journey at different speeds, but our sister here as been a Muslim since 2003 I beleive. I'm not 'hating' on her or 'judging' or back-bighting but Insha'allah I'm stating facts and if I were to meet her insha'allah I would say this to her face. May Allah forgive us all and guide us to the Haqq.

Maria Smith In Canada, adoptions from Pakistan are not allowed because as Pakistan is an Islamic country, and they do not have the same understanding as adoption as is generally understood in the west, Canada doesn’t allow adoptions from Pakistan. They allow adoptions from India and China as their understanding of adoption is the same as the general understanding of adoption in the west. Canadian Pakistanis who want to adopt orphans from Pakistan go thru US agencies.
Here are the details regarding adoption. Do your investigation.

Beards are not mentioned in the Qur’2an, but are sunnah. Having said that, we all have free will & we all have our own set of personal circumstances & only Allah alone will judge. My comment, though arguably 'Islamophobic' was removed.
While I take issue with Myriam's politics and religious beliefs, I can also admire her greatly for the speech she is making in this video - very timely and makes important recommendations that if taken up by the Muslim community - indeed any community would make for a better world.I also admire her for the documentary she made on the nikah marriage problem.
She is undeniably, a woman of faith and principle.

Why do sisters think they are better and understand more about deen than Ulema. Why did she have to stand up on stage and preach to all these people? If there were important topics, she could have given written transcripts to the Ulema. Astaghfirullah.
Only 2 people in her house, I wonder why.
Men should run the households sister, and you women can get out of the house and run the world, please do that. I like staying at home.

Why did she wear a hijab in the first place? To pay her dues?

Honestly, look at your own photo. did you pay your dues by wearing a shirt once and now you feel you can quiz women on what they chose to wear? Maybe a better question would be: "is this really any of my shirtless gym selfie taking business what this women wears on her head?". The double standard and entitlement is rampant in the Muslim ummah today. Smh

@@korruptnovellst4751 Well she clearly changed her opinion on the matter, which is her right. People grow and there opinions and views evolve. Interestingly, the Quran never states for women to cover their hair but tells them to cover their bossoms and both men and women should dress modestly. It is based off one verse where "coverings" or "outer garment" has been translated or interpreted by some ullama to be "head covering", but the original Arabic does not mention the the head at all. But whether a women choses to wear or not wear it should be a personal matter, not one aired to the public. A lot Muslims seem to think that other Muslims, especially women are answerable to them, which is pure arrogance and ego. God is the best judge.
