Also, I love how Kuzco isn’t portrayed as dumb or incompetent, just childish and immature. He says some clearly intelligent things, he just doesn’t apply them cause he never needed to
My favourite scene is at the very end when Chicha crochets Kuzco a poncho, and she gives him a hug. It's probably the only maternal affection he's ever received

One of my favorite animated comedies. And the behind-the-scenes story of this movie crazy. It was originally intended to be an entirely different and dramatic film before there were problems in production and the story got reworked.
Here in Bolivia some communities still speak Quechua, and some bits of it have blended in with our day to day Spanish. That's why as a kid, I found the names of the characters curious. Like, Pacha means "Earth", and his wife's name, Chicha, is an indigenous alcoholic drink.

It can remain something to keep enjoying because reactors keep discovering it and it is always enjoyable to watch you and others discover this dark horse.
This movie never gets old for me. This is my favorite Disney Channel movie. It goes against all of the Disney stereotypes and it's laugh out loud funny.
First of all, the movie? HILARIOUS!!! Giving Warburton all of those lines was brilliant!! You can't help but imitate every line he says. Everyone shines in this one.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The cast is stacked and the humor is one point. Not to mention Kuzco actually having a good character arc. I can quote the entire thing.
Trivia- originally this was supposed to be a musical with Spade (still as The Emperor) and Owen Wilson as the peasant. And it was to be a musical, with songs by Sting. After a number of other releases underperformed, Disney went in a different direction and killed the music bits
As soon as the 2000's hit, if it wasn't a Pixar movie, the odd live action film, and/or a Disney Channel project, it wasn't the biggest hit... besides Lilo and Stitch. This, Treasure Planet, and Atlantis: The Lost Empire are now massive cult hits (Even though the company thought it was gonna be there biggest thing), effortlessly carried by their world and character designs... and memes (This reaction includes most of if, not all of them).
