Hey boss, it looks like your bench flexes!! I had this same issue...I couldn't figure out why my seat depth varied by a few thousandths almost every time...may wanna beef that up a tad... Looks like a nice upgrade from the load master or 1000 for sure!!
Yes that video was 4 months ago I only had 2 mounting bolts secured to bench due to incorrect mounting plate sent to me I have the correct plate now and there is no flex thanks for watching!
I thought about doing a video on that also it would be a boring video to watch as I am a slow reloader and with 6 stations its hard to make sure that all stations are working properly in my opinion this press is not built for speed but it is a great press if you take your time thanks for watching my video!
its an awesome press. Its well made, precise, 6 ports to fully utilize, the breech locks are easy to use. The priming looks to be much improved, the all metal (aluminum and steel) construction is very rigid. It's a very well thought out press. The ejector and front mounted bin is a nice touch. Add a bullet feed die (I bought the Mr Bullet Feeder) and a powder checker die (I chose RCBS for its simplicity) and you are set. Think how fast you can reload having a press which feeds cases, primers, powder, and bullets. Keep it well fed and it'll pay dividends. Lee's customer service is outstanding. Love mine, one of the first 72. I got lucky. Highly recommend.
I have been setting up my 6000, resizing die, powder measure, RCBS powder checker, Mini Mr Bullet Feeder, bullet seat die, crimp. The springs kink, I added a rod inside both the car feeder & Primer feeder to allow extension but also not let it kink. Slam dunk on the case feeder, but the primer feeder is a problem, its flimsy. Lee should have just made it out of steel. The 7/16 - 20 nuts on the linkage should have been thin Nylon Lock nuts so you can set the perfect gap for free movement but not sloppy or stiff. They arrive stiff. McMaster Carr sells the thin profile nuts.
@@davespin9034 I haven't had any problems with the springs . On the primer spring make sure the end loops are facing the correct way per Lee instruction manual. Also did Lee supply the slider hold down with your press? Not sure if they are supplying them with the new kits. If not you can contact Lee and they will send you one. Thanks for watching!
I assume that's not the correct Inline Fabrication plate you're using for this press?🤔 The rear press hole has no nut or bolt holding it against the plate.
That's correct the template that Lee sent out had incorrect dimensions I ended up drilling my own hole until the correct plate came thanks for watching!
I have a Pro 6000 in 223 I seat my Bullet at the station before you do so I don"t have to Reach around the Column! I put my Factory Crimp die Next. Works Good!
@@reloader523I too bought the Mini Mr Bullet Feeder. set correctly its awesome. At the top of the stroke for the bullet feed make sure there is at least 1/8" remaining free travel or you can smash a case. I squished a couple. 1/8 play provides the bullet drop but doesn't kink the case neck.
@@davespin9034 the Mini Mr Bullet Feeder works well with this press. Haven't had any problems squishing any cases. Enjoy your new press and thanks for watching!
Hello !!! Thank you so much for posting your videos!!! Can you tell me what is the use of the red PLA part which is under the shell plate of the press... Was this part provided to you by LEE or is it a personal creation ??? Thank you for your answer and Congratulations for your video (very instructive)
Thanks for watching the red ring was supplied by Lee after the press was sent out. For 40 caliber and below Lee recommended this piece to tighten up the case to shell plate. There are other upgrades also that are not visible on video. Lee has been listening to the people who recieved this press and have been on top of any problems. Great work from Lee as always!
@@reloader523 Thank you for your answer !!! Then I relay your TH-cam video(s) on a French forum because here (in France) we have very little information on this press... Thanks in advance
@@firebladeflow yes..the priming system is a little different from other Lee presses but works good its not flawless but gets the job done you can feel the primer setting in primer pocket on down stroke
@@alias.g3942 at the beginning the primer slider that picks up the primer was bending up at the rear of slider but Lee sent out a slider hold down that rectified the problem other than that it was just user error upside down primer my fault it actually works very well
Bellissima macchina 🙂
Very nice video. I've been looking at too many videos about this press. I just need to order it and start reloading again.

Just to give you an idea... can you load how many cartridges per hour on average, or how many minutes for 100 cartridges?
