How To Install LED Shop Lights from Omni-Ray Lighting [10,000 LUMENS]

  • We upgraded our shop lights with new LED T8 Tube Lights from Omni-Ray Lighting. Each T8 bulb includes two rows of LEDs in a 270-degree V-shape. The 72W output delivers up to 10,000 lumens of light. At just 0.6A of draw for each light, we're able to run a multitude of lights on just one circuit.
Installing these new LED shop lights are a cinch with the provided hardware. Since the frame is made from light aluminum and the body from plastic, these LED T8 Tube lights are very light, so they can be secured with just two clips. With our all-steel building, we used self-tapping screws to quickly install the clips. Once the clips are in place, the lights quickly snap into the clips. You spend more time going up and down the ladder than it takes to actually install the T8 tubes.
You can purchase these T8 LED lights from Omni-Ray for as little as $18 each, depending on the volume purchased. They have a large variety of different types of lights, in LED and others. Tell them Shop Tool Reviews sent you.

I went with the magnetic clip. Installation was a breeze with no drilling. I agree, these are the best lights I could find.

That V frame light makes a big difference in your shop. Post a picture once the whole shop is done (before and after). I like your shop!!! 😁😁😁 (that's me keep smiling)

Will do! We're planning to do a follow-up video on the difference as well as some other features of the lights.

I just installed 12 of the 8' T8 LED tubes from Omni-Ray in my 24 x 32 garage. Super bright and happy with the results.
I ordered 4 more 4' T8 LED Tubes to put on the middle crossbars on top of garage so the middle gets plenty of light too.

It seems like a great option for my garage instead of those big bulky lights.... nice, slim, and bright ...is the way to go and.... the fact that they're linkable is a nice option....

Are these better than the ones on Amazon that looks the same? Where is the follow up video? How did you do your custom wiring? Are these lights suitable for damp locations?

May be ok but if you look at the label they say "made in China" so don't buy these thinking they are US made.

Omni-Ray called me a loser in the video above and my response is below.
Really, Is that how you run a business? I was going to follow up with a comment about how I received my lights and you suggested a different type and made the situation right. However, I will post all the information now. After a few more emails the communication didn't get much better. Mike seemed put off by my questions.
I ordered the "in stock" lights on 31 March. No emails at all until I sent one on 11 April asking where the lights were at since my CC was charged immediately. On 13 April I threatened a disputed CC charge and then I got an answer about how those lights weren't in stock and that he would upgrade me to shorter lights but were "non-interference" lights. More work on my part to install for my setup. I accepted the solution on 13 April. 17 April still no shipping notification so I asked when they would ship. 19 April I received a reply that they would go out on the next truck. Whenever that was. 22 April the lights showed up and seem to have no issues but I have not installed yet.
Calling a paying customer a loser is unprofessional and I will still hold my opinion of buyer beware.
