We do live in the north east so salt on roads is an issue but it was garage kept and run it through the car wash several times each winter season. thanks for noticing.
Touche' Ten Nine Four. I've deciphered that worn front struts causes excessive bounce, clunk & sway wearing sway bar bushing on passenger side only. Of course replace em both, but left side is usually OK. Thanks for posting these R&R. Dealer told my friend $1500 to remove the engine and that they didn't know what it was until they removed the engine. Sounds like they were going to "flat-rate" him for a few hours and replace one in an hour.
The clearances are so tight and the bends & twists in the sway bar are so great I fully do not believe you can remove it w/o dropping the k-frame or removing a whole lot of other suspension components. I could be completely wrong.....maybe someone with more experience can comment as well. thanks for watching.
yes.......the clunking from the front, however I have another clunk/tick noise coming from the rear suspension. the two noises seem totaly separate and not linked.

are you sure you can't remove the stabilizer bar without lowering the k frame? found my bar cracked & trying to figure out if I can diy

I discovered the ticking noise was a bad rear wheel hub bearing. I created another video detailing how I replaced that bearing.
Next time try some good vice grips on that 8mm to hold it
that's a good tip but it didn't work for me. I tried using a real pair of Vice Grips and the stud would still slip and turn. thanks for commenting.
