So glad this video landed in my recommendations, that's an amazing perspective you provided Sir. I am currently going through a lot of your previous videos and have to agree this channel is an absolute gem. Subscribed, looking forward for more such content, cheers 🤗
Paajee, DevOps is everything you have learned, implemented, and executed, to make a product go live in production, just leaving enough scope to repeat the steps again as in next version..!! :)
Paaji, your explanation is great! I'm new to DevOps and unfamiliar with the mentioned famous names, but I appreciate your way of explaining. I have experience with backup tools like Veeam and StorageCraft, as well as cloud tools like Kaseya. I'm looking to transition into DevOps, learn more, and land a job in the field. Any advice?
Paji, appreciate your response to all the comments on this video. I have 8 years of experience in Salesforce tech, now I am thinking to switch my career to Devops, is it a good idea? Is the future for Devops safe for next 10 years from now? Can we see the jobs increasing until 3034 ? Thanks in advance!!
Hey Santosh, appreciate your compliments! DevOps is slated for a good run in the next couple of years, with all this AI stuff coming up. DevOps will become the backbone of implementing AI and the cloud migrations. I do not think ANYONE can predict the next 10 years. Look at what ChatGPT did in the last 2 years - and none of us had any bloody clue :-)
I'm so excited with your explanation Sir! I'm also saw you on linkedin about Devops2.0. Honestly, I'm still a little confused about it. Looks like this will be an interesting topic for discussion. Any explaination in detail or any advise?
Hello sir. This is the first vedio I saw from your channel. These made me to build interest to watch more vedios. So I just commented to let you know that Iam going to watch each one of your vedios and understand who you are and what you had done in career pov and ask some help in future.
what's the industry like for devops? Do they need to work in rotational/ night/ or general shifts? I know it depends on company but what does mostly happen regarding shifts?
My next video talks about DevOps in 2023 and the next 4 years. Short answer - the market projections are great! Will you work in shifts or not totally depends on your role - it it's operations, then could be yes! But it might not be 24*7 shift. Also, I've seen DevOps teams where they do not support operations directly. They work regular hours. So, it depends on your company and their clients. Also, as your experience grows, you can change roles. Hope this helps. I'll be doing a LI live this weekend - come there and we can discuss more.

It was great listening Savinder Sir and with the last take by Kelsey Hightower opinion looks tempting ; why to move to new architecture if its sexy; rather take conndireation of the customer requirement and if they want to move away from the current resilient architecture; THEN only move or else stick to the Old Robust Architecture ! PS Gent is present in Belgium; 2nd Biggest City after Antwerp
Yes, I've seen several enterprises move tech stacks because "it sounds cool", only to realize later that it lands them in greater mess than before. Like they say - a known devil is better than an unknown friend. And it's GHENT, not Gent :-)
The Dev experience will help. However, you can build that on your own by Projects, open source etc. There are several openings today for fresher DevOps. Focus on the fundamentals and get those sorted for one language of your choice.

Well, you can easily say that you were reskilling yourself. But, instead of saying this - it's best if you can demonstrate your work - Projects, demos etc. That way, you do not have to defend yourself and feel less confidant!
