I switched from a manual QA (Middle), so you will make it for sure. Just say that you were a DevOps in a previous project and apply for jobs as a DevOps Middle (if you have some hands-on experience).

Initially i learnt MERN development but I wasn't really enjoying frontend part though backend is less painful with node js, and since later part is micro services and all i just thought to give it a shot and now I've been learning DevOps since last 3 weeks and made my foundation strong with Linux, networking, shell scripting,git and python I'm also thinking of learning Go lang, at the end of zero to hero playlist and land a DevOps role job by the end of this year. No follow up questions, no technical questions nothing. Felt like they already had a candidate in mind and did interviews to stick to company's policies. Ofcourse I still get calls though. But it's kinda demotivating when this happens 😞
