      Glad to know you found it helpful :) that was the main goal behind the video to ask the relevant questions.
      But everyone needs guidance to grow professionally , everyone needs a mentor, even a mentor needs a mentor.
      If you think that experienced people dont want extra money or they dont need guidance related to career , you have to wait for a few more years and then you will see the reality :) When you have kids, when you have home loan, when you have to earn not just for you but for the future of your kids, their education, well being, necessities, it's a whole new reality.

    Thank you piyush and saviderpuri....This is very helpful, as a backend developer whose trying to move from freelancing to getting a junior devops job I have been having difficulty getting a job even after the courses, tutorials because I usually learn in private ....I don't share my tech journey,the errors ,the solution....its just only me, my tech journal and my laptop......Although it's almost going to a year since I started the devops course.....I'll try to post my works online and notify you piyush once I get a job😅

    Hi Piyush. Enjoy your work and your videos very much !
    I have a question about transition into DevOps role. I started as Desktop support role, then moved into product technical support roles for quite long years. I have tried getting into cloud and DevOps role, cracked the interview and worked for 6 months but failed to deliver it because of less exposure to its culture and lack of tools usage and understanding. However, it has fascinated me, so I learned most of the tools used in DevOps from Your channel and few others.
    What would you or anyone here suggest to help me getting into a DevOps role? Please send suggestions...
    I am thinking maybe few certifications would help me, but don't know where to begin with.

    • @TechTutorialswithPiyush
      @TechTutorialswithPiyush  16 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I would say two things
      - Certifications and Projects, follow the suggestions provided by Savinder in this video about learning in public
      - Maintain a good GitHub repo with every project you build
      - Add the top 2-3 projects in your resume with the link to github , try to write technical blogs if you can
      I have created dedicated videos about certification path and which one should you choose, check it out

      @@TechTutorialswithPiyush Thanks a lot, appreciate it. I have already cleared my basic AWS foundation and Github Foundation certification. Currently working on few Projects. But must say, I am enjoying the problems and the hurdles with the process. Would it be okay to document them somewhere?

    Hi Piyush. Enjoy your channel very much! I had question regarding a future DevOps role.
    What would you or anyone here suggest as a good entry level role to help pivot to a DevOps role in the future? Please send suggestions...
    I am thinking maybe SysAdmin, Linux Admin, Tester, etc....I do have both Help desk, Technician and years of cloud training as well as I completed an intense DevOps course.
    Thanks kindly!
    Mass from Canada :)

      It's interesting you have helpdesk and IT support experience plus Cloud and DevOps knowledge but finding it hard to get a DevOps role. I'm in Canada, without support role, with deep cloud knowledge and some DevOps also, with mostly a sales background. I'm getting zero interviews.

    • @TechTutorialswithPiyush
      @TechTutorialswithPiyush  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Hello buddy, thank you for the feedback. A good entry level role would be either Sysadmin or Cloud support, having the helpdesk experience helps getting into either of these two roles. Try to add a couple of certifications to your belt and some realtime handson projects on GitHub and your resume. All the best

    • @TechTutorialswithPiyush
      @TechTutorialswithPiyush  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      I know its hard getting your first job into Cloud/DevOps, it took me some time as well. If you are not getting interview calls , I'd suggest doing some certifications, adding some good projects in your GitHub after implementing those and try to do networking with others. Community groups such as AWS User group, GDG, CNCF related groups etc.
