This dip saved a bunch of my Euphyllia when I was having an issue with my tank. Glad you tried it. If I have coral that for some reason looks off I just dip it now and then it bounces back.
Looking forward to using this as I recently had a complete wipeout and starting to recoup what I can from what was left and for future corals. I’m a torch junky and lost my whole collection. Great video as always and as always appreciate you sharing such an array of ways to do things that work.
Love torches too and just lost all of mine due to a nitrate spike and I tried too hard to rebalance and it just crashed. At least $600 in torches...gone.
How long did you take between each dip round? Do you use the same dip water each time or fresh batches? Can i use freshly made saltwater or just tank water?
I did an in tank treatment on my frag tank and my euphyllia opened up quite a bit and were fuller plus the flesh bands grew. Pulling the corals out of the tank and implementing the steps that you showed is a lot less in expensive. 😜
did you pull 4g of tank water out each day or just the 1g? and ther 4gs did you use it more than once or a fresh amount each time??? thanks in advance!
Hey Dev Question. Did the flesh bands ever come back? Some of my torches are receding and im currently dipping them and just wanned to see if this helped you
This dip works well! I have been using it for some time on a smaller scale. But it has helped a ton. I do need to add the hydrogen peroxide part as I havent yet
does/will the "flesh band" actually grow DOWN the skeleton?? I was under the impression the flesh band grows with the polyp. Meaning the flesh band can only get larger with new growth/extension of a polyp.
I tried this on several different types of corals that looked sad. It seems to have helped. I didn't have restor or ciprofloxacin in the dip. Not sure how to get cipro in Canada yet.
ratios, or at least keeping the units of measurement the same, rather than mixing imperial and metric. thats too much for my little brain to handle and seems needlessly complicated...
I've heard only good things about this dip. I've always been a fan if the shotgun method to things. Might not know exactly what works but better is better. Hope all is well.

@@ReefDudes I love it. Reminds me of Tropheus Dubois cichlids. But with a red head. I’m gonna have to get me a couple.
Haha came to the comments to ask the same question!
This dip definitely helped my hammer! We were super nervous it wasn't going to make it. But sure enough, he's opening back up and looking good 🤗
I don't recall you using the microbacter 7. Where was that used in this process? Sorry if I missed it! Awesome video BTW. Thanks!!!
I dosed it to the tank after once I put the torches in to you the good bacteria content a bit
Their dip did wonders for me and brought back a few of my prized specimens.
Love to hear it!
Tip: to save a coral try 2 scoops of chemiclean per quart of aquarium water for 15 mins

Must you do 13 days straight? Or can you do 7 days?

@reefdudes any thoughts here?
@@tookmyhandle2 i found it had no real help that i could tell. Ecobalance seemed to help my tank
