This reminded me of my childhood when we were told to count sheep to fall asleep. Also wondering if it wouldn't work making a few of them gliding over a simple fence. Great idea for free coloring pages for my donation quilts.

Are you placing the sheep in different areas within the blocks, and yes, @Carolyn Kauppila mentioned jumping over a fence would be cute too.
