I don’t exactly know how to describe it. This feels like an illustration in a vintage children’s book. I mean that in the best way. Like one you’d find buried in your grandmothers closet and it becomes your favorite.
I'm flabbergasted, not only by the incredible illustration, but also by the extreme focus, patience, and fine motor skill required for such an undertaking.
The Silly Beasts are great. The crowds are mind-boggling! I don't have the patience for that!! This exercise was like a cross between Sergio Aragones, Tomi Ungerer and Hieronymus Bosch, but it's still your own work. Interesting brushes, by the way.
This is exactly the style of drawing I always dreamed of doing when I was a kid. Reminiscent of Where’s Waldo illustrations. Simply amazing. Thanks for sharing your process.

What a wonderful way to get all these ideas to paper. I have a hard time with ink nibs because the ink dries so quickly on the nib. Is there a trick exept drawing super fast? 😄Of course you are used to work with those materials but I am wondering why you don`t choose fineliners. I love your way to get so much details and scenes into one single piece so that my eyes keep searching. Thank you for sharing your art with us.🥰
