Suikoden - Early Game "OP" & get Fortune OR Prosperity Crystal

The crystal you get from the NPC is Sarady is very dependent on how many party members you have:
-If you're going for the Fortune Crystal, don't bother bringing Ted, go alone.
-If you're going for the Prosperity Crystal, bring Ted along, but nobody else.
I went with the Prosperity Crystal since leveling is never an issue in the Suikoden series.

I remember this game fondly but basically just get double exp money is useless in ps1 version of suikoden so easy to get max money

Preference really, leveling was never much of an issue either.

Yeah the 1st game was easy enough that you can finish it without grinding too much

Prosperity is useful early game when you have nothing else to equip on someone like Gremio and you can't exploit the dice game yet. If you don't get one here, you have to try getting it as a rare drop from the Siren enemy outside Kalekka. Whereas the Fortune crystal can just be bought. Fortune is never really useful in normal play due to the way your experience scales based on enemy level. Although you can exploit the Fortune rune to grind to lv96 late game.

😁 too bad that Viktor and Flik are just automatically in it, I would swap them out for Pesmerga and someone else cool.
