Dude I've never actually checked the PSP version of this game. It looks surprisingly good, even though I genuinely fucking despise this game lol It at least had a bit more of the original atmosphere than Homecoming, Shattered Memories and Downpour (in my opinion at least). Edit - oh good to see you feel the same way. Even though it butchers the characters and story of SH1, it still FEELS sort of like Silent Hill at least. It's also the only one that creeped me out at all. The story killed it, but it still has creepier music and atmosphere. Akira Yamaoka was on point with this shit. I might have to give a play of both versions soon and compare them. I haven't played Origins since like 2012 or 2013 I think. You also point out the idiocy of the game without being overly obnoxious about it. I've tried to stop hating the "newer" fanbase that came out around when the movie came out, just trying to inform them of how off they were in terms of telling the story. But I've met people who genuinely adore the movie and say it is one of their favourite horror movies (somehow). Who am I to say they're wrong? I swear Twin Perfect kind of fucked up a lot of people's ability to just talk about these games without it becoming a rage war. Good shit though man, I don't know why TH-cam recommended you after all these years, I used to watch your speedruns of Silent Hill back when I was perfecting my routes years ago. I guess posting my own content again got your Silent Hill stuff back on the radar for me. Good to see you've kept it up all these years later! **I also had no idea he has asthma. Is that explained in-game? I beat it once on PS2 and then never touched it again so I likely missed that detail or forgot it lol**
about the Thing, I'm from CIS region, there was a brief period of time when people pay for stuff like movies and games, around 2010-2020. but in 1990 and now everyone just get stuff for free
