I have a 05 1000 Summitt efi and my temp sensor gauge like jumped then kinda just slowly went to 0 prior to this the back light did not work think the gauge is shot ?
hey have a quick question i have 07 mxz blizzard 800 and want to install a temp and fuel gauge but ones im finding have different connector ends then the one on my harness on my sled is there a particular gauge i need?
Can I tell what sensor I have without changing it out? Is there a difference in how many wires are out the sensor? I have an '04, but I don't know the history.
I'm getting the same one for my 2006 mxz800hoo this week coming, good to know the temp before blowing up your engine from over heating
Did you have to physically cut out the opening to mount the gauge? My 600sdi has the places for them but you cannot just pop them out.
I never did. On some of the lower end models they did have them sealed over like you talk about. You would have to cut yours.
have you ever tried to add the matching fuel gauge to your 600 SDI??
I haven’t. You will need a different fuel tank i believe however. Otherwise a gauge and harness should plug in!

Does seem like it, but with the back light being done it almost seems like something shorted and caused the gauge to spike. Then maybe blew a fuse?
I got a 2006 mxz adrenaline 800ho Ptek would this work on it? Its not sdi

Depends on if it is a sdi or non sdi model. There will be a resistor pack with the gauge.
@@Schneids15 mine is not an SDI, but I can use a sensor and guage from an SDI, correct? I have an 800 carb.
The sdi gauge reads from the computer. The non sdi need a sensor that threads into the head and a gauge that matches that sensor.
@@Schneids15 I seem to have a small wire harness between the sensor and the mpem. Does that need to be changed out as well, to handle more wires?
No i believe the gauge unit is stand alone for those one wire from sensor to the gauge and the gauge plugs into the harness for power.
Im back to owning my 3rd ski-doo rev 600sdi but its my 4th Rev chassis
Could you make a video of putting a temp guage on a king quad 300. If its possible and not rocket science.
Thanks for this info definitely helped
Anyone know where I can pick up a temp gauge
