      It’s amazing how good these older SDI’s were on fuel and oil. I’m glad your liking the 650! I put a couple hundred miles on one a couple years ago, seem like a strong motor.

    ok, i got to ask. do u know if the molybdenum grease has been replaced in the bearings? i just picked up one of these with 5000 miles on it, dont know if u need to change the grease like the 800's, urs has 8000 miles.

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The crank bearings are sealed and use the Isoflex grease on these engines.
      These 600sdi engine don’t seem to run as hot as the 800’s so you don’t hear of as many failures due to bearing grease. However, I would still replace the grease if I was you. It’s not a huge job..
      The clutch side is very easy, you just need to pop the primary clutch off and pull the bearing plate and seal off.
      The mag side is a little more involved and a lot of people don’t bother with it. I personally I replace both just for piece of mind.

    Is that sled good for wood riding around the cabin at low speed, will the engine overheat? Thx

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This 600’s do not overheat easily but they are liquid cooled.. so they do need fresh snow to get kicked up on the heat exchanger to cool it down. If you was always riding slow speeds and constantly letting the sled idle as if you needed to keep getting off the sled for something, I would recommend getting a fan cooled engine.

      @Andrew Stutzman Depending on your area I’d say between $2000-$3500 for one of these.

    I find that rev chassis makes me feel crowded . Like I'm forced to sit too far forward. My knees get sore . Oh well everyone is different. Keep the reviews coming.

      @rockspowersports  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya I know what you mean after coming off some of the newer chassis it’s definitely crowded but better than the older zx chassis

    I'm curious as to the price of that sled I'm looking at 1 right now with 4000 miles on it 05 I believe 600 and I'm gonna offer 2 or less and stick to it

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @shawn mclaughlin This one sold for $2900 this past winter. If you can get that sled for under $2000 that’ll be a good buy if it’s clean.
