I know what you mean. I've compliled a playlist for myself of synth demos to remind me what's on the market and with the majority of them the playing ain't good. I mean, half the time I think if you're not that great playing live you could at least write a little tune or play a few selected midifiles, but no, mostly it's just random keys being pressed.
I reckon Katsunori is just about the best synth guy on all of TH-cam. He plays actual music on these instruments, rather than bleep-bloop and random noises.

The police won't arrest you if you play Jump, stop playing that similar sounding thing and play Jump. That is a wonderful souding board, one of the best ever.
Probably doesn't want to get the video flagged by youtube. You should watch his Korg Kronos review. It's funny he plays a bunch of well known songs but changes them slightly. This is why UJIIE is legend.
