- Upgrading the stock swan neck drop arm on our Land Rover Defender with the Gwyn Lewis drop arm conversion kit. This is a much better Drop Arm for a Defender as it eliminates the press-in ball joint that is used in a Defender Swan Neck Drop Arm and replaces it with a normal Track Rod End. The Defender press-in ball joints can be very difficult to replace, a normal Track Rod End is much easier to replace.

By the way your Defender chassis/underside looks spotless!!! Do they not use salt on the roads in Switzerland? Or what do you do to preserve it this well? Do you steam wash it?

Thanks! Full chassis treatment every 2-3 years and regularly car wash after driving in winter. A lot of salt around CH ;)
