That looks so delicious! Before your channel I didn't cook many Indian dishes as most recipe books made it seem so complicated. Thanks to your videos and recipe books, that has changed drastically. Thank you Chetna!
Really ….very good and so important , that when you were getting ready to cook , very interesting the way you explained every bit about how you cooked . And what you added to the cooking process , wonderfully you do this, we being able to understand how you made.the food recipe . 👍👏
Oh my god, this looks divine! I love your recipes hun, my guests and friends always compliment my cooking and are speechless when I serve them. Thank you ❤❤
Hi Chetna that looks delicious 😋 I will definitely try that, awww bless you, you have a cold, I am full of cold too due to weather changing, thank you so much for sharing another delicious lovely recipe 😋😁❤️
Hello Chetna. Thanks for sharing and teaching us another classic dish. I must admit Ive never heard of this dish. Have you ever shown how to make Tikka Marsala ?
FYI, TESCO has a range of own-brand herbs and spices that includes Kasoori Methi/ dried fenugreek leaves. Which helps if you don't have an Asian store near you.
@@TheVanie92 Yes, all supermarket herbs and spices are crazy expensive. However, I find that the TESCO dried fenugreek is more fragrant than that supplied by my nearest Indian store.
Chetna, I have made THREE of your recipes (YUMMM, am I Indian at heart?) ... anyway, I think you cook your food at a higher heat than I do because I'm afraid of burning it...but I watch you put the seasonings in (pods, seeds, leaves etc) and then you step over to chop things. Am I just being a scardy cat or can you really let them sizzle away by themselves without having to babysit them?
Where can I get a printed recipe for this Chicken Makani? I bought Chetna's cooking books, including the beautiful new one on Indian Feasts, but do not find this recipe there. I also checked he website, no luck there either? Maybe she just doesn't allow printed recipes from the YT channel? Steven Schroeder
There will be cumin in the garam masala, but it's not the main flavor of this curry. There are many types that use all different proportions of spices.

WOW! she makes all her cooking look so easy.
It is I promise!
I am just making it. It has to simmer for the next 30 minutes and i´am very excited!!!

Im so looking forward to making this😊
That curry pot looks awesome! Is it clay? Where did you get it?
She comments in another video (Chicken Paratha) that the brand is called TIIPOI.
Does clay make it taste better ?

@@FoodwithChetna thank you I will do Chetna 😁
This is a brilliant dish. I made it for tomorrow's dinner, but I don't think we're going to be able to wait!
If you have friends over on Monday cook it on friday
I'd definitely have to have the chilli butter on mine 😋
Cannot wait to try this! I was looking for a new chicken curry recipe! 👍😋💕

Ignore my tikka enquiry. You've already made it. 🎉
Yes I have!
I would love to try this. So many of the ingredients I don’t have but I’m gonna give it a shot. Thanks for sharing.🙏🏽😋🥗🥒
enjoy!
Looks good! Ms. Chetna sounds so upset that her guests dont eat spicy food 😂😂😂
It was banging Chetna!...thanks 😊
👍🏼
wonderful yum yum
Oooh my favourite!
Delicious 😋 will be wrong to add a potato?
I thought I would add potato 😂
Not at all, go for it
I was thinking the same. It would be nice to add some potatoes. : )
Wow I will cook this this week. Can you just use chicken thighs on the bone ? Thanks Chetna.
Yes you can!

It does help but it's so expensive compared to how much it costs in Indian shops - it's good as a back up of course if it's difficult to access!

I'm guessing that your child is watching the Cricket World Cup and not the Rugby Union World Cup. 😉😂

Whole spices can take a bit more before getting burnt! But ground spices will burn if you don't watch
This looks amazing Chetna! I do have a problem though…..I’m a pescatarian and was wondering if I could use fish? ❤
Definitely, just let the sauce cook longer without any protein since the fish won't take 45 minutes!
❤❤🎉

Chena, do you ever cook with lamb?
I think, a small amount of lovage might be ok as a replacement for kasuri methi.

Is this recipe in one of your books Chetna?
Am i blind or is there no recipe as of now in the description to print? :)
7:55 🤦♀️ You misspelled #give. 🙂 (You have #gice...) Sorry... 🫂🫂
I noticed you did not add any ground cumin Chetna. Why would this be? as i see most curries have this as a main ingredient. Many thanks.

Lovely chetna xxx👍👍👍
