We start the walk at Bangla Road and walking towards Beach Road. Beach Road seems currently the busiest part of Patong Beach. A few restaurants open already. Patong Beach night walk. Keep in mind that for the first 14 days you need to have an ASQ Hotel and there are some other requirements. Best check with your local embassy as they are changing from time to time. Yep my thoughts to not worth the travel I adore asia but health systems and limited jab resources this is going to take ages before any kind of normal bali is back in lockdown the likes of Singapore and Malaysia won’t entertain brits either

Nice job on the video.. Been to Patong three times and enjoyed the beach... Not much of a Bangla person and the last time I was there 3/19 I stayed for a month and never had a beer in a bar...I guess I'm boring... Now that I'm retired I had planned to spend every winter in SE Asia, but everyone knows what happened last year... Don't plan on traveling this winter either... Enjoy Phuket and Siem Reap, Cambodia ..thanks for the video because it brings back good memories....

Patong - very very crowded and lively place, but I like Karon more with his calmness, waves. You can go to Patong to have fun on tuktuk, and then return to Karon to rest.
Yes agree. We are living in Phuket Town. More quiet here. If we need we just driving to Patong or somewhere. Have a great weekend. Take care
@@StreetsOfAsia The first time I stayed at Coconut Village Resort in Patong, the other two times between Karon and Kata on the second line of the Baan Karon Resort, and I met the New Year 2018 in a modest hotel on the first line of Karon Princesses opposite the Serpent Nag statue.
A couple of times I took a scooter motorcycle, other times I met a taxi driver at Baan Karon's in a dark green car and rode with him. I was in karting, Big Buddha, a cocoon of show (sex), different islands, dash, shopping tours, fish market-restaurant Rawai ... But I haven't been to many places, I want to visit Nai Harn and elsewhere ... I have not been to Turkey, Cambodia, Vietnam, but it seems to me that Phuket with its Karon is one of the most not bad places. They speak a little dirty in Goa, but of course it all depends on the wallet)
I am sad to watch my favourite destination in the world looking like this hopefully things will get better

This is so depressing to watch 🤦♂️Did Patong 3 years running a few years back ,and hand on heart they are all up there on my best holidays in Thailand in the last 13 years for many reasons ,especially Soi Eric for drinking which has long gone sadly 😢Thanks for reminding me of that Beach walk i did numerous times when the place was heaving and full of life ..So sad

My wife and I are heading to Phuket the beginning of September for our Honeymoon. On a personal, slightly selfish level, this video looks great and seems like we'll have a wonderful (more personal) uncrowded adventure. On a more realistic side, I do really hope they recover well after this is all said and done. I am reading that the sandbox program is working.
If you dont need party and drinking and just want to enjoy quiet nice empty beaches it very good at the moment. Congrats on your wedding. Hope you will enjoy your stay here. @@StreetsOfAsia Blessings, thank you. We are intending to rent a car too so we can visit all of these nice towns and beaches and see the most out of the island. Also renting as our attempt to reduce cases wherever possible so we don't share with Taxi or Tuk-Tuk drivers.

To be honest, I’m not surprised it’s like this and irrespective of the sandbox scheme and the bureaucracy, I’m expecting it to be a lot busier in the ‘HIGH’ season of December; surely this wouldn’t be prime time to visit the place anyway… no? I also appreciate the effect Covid has had on the place but it will get busier, that’s a certainty

Just called my fren living in Bangkok yday asking him how’s Thailand life now, he told me NOT TO COME…he just got tested positive on the 6th, luckily is just mild symptoms and he’s recovered…he says virus is everywhere and all around him are tested positive…so scary
