Yesss I know what you mean. They kept tourists a safe distance from the mum and her baby and at the end we got to watch them swim together and I was tearing up. The little one was so cute, playing happily with mama! It was so pure.
@@travelforphoebe I live in Sydney for 22 yrs but when I was little my dad&granddad had a few elephants and they run logging business in Lampang&Chaing Mai until I was 6 the logging b became illegal but my dad still kept 1 for a few years later sold to someone in Surin.

I like the Phoebe cam! 48 hours is so short, but this video reminds me of the careless life pre-COVID-19. The island life is so great, it’s a little like the Caribbean, but in a different way. Especially the painted houses reminds me of Curaçao. Wait, outdoor bathroom, outdoor shower? This is some serious business 🙈. The elephant park seems a stress-relieving activity, so relaxed. I noticed leafy greens and ice. I love the papaya salad, but I'm terrified of food poisioning. I look forward to catchiing up on your other adventures!
Hey Rebecca! Oh my gosh I’m so excited for you - you are going to have the BEST time. I adore Thailand 😊 Great question! I can’t recall ever getting sick in Thailand. With that said, I don’t personally eat meat, chicken or dairy but I’ve never had a problem with veg and seafood based dishes. We try street food all the time and just make sure the stall is clean. The locals are savvy and know visitors are mindful so they use bottled water for drinks and ice. If you’re unsure, just ask! I’d pack some medicine for peace of mind but I doubt you’d need to use it. Street food in Thailand is epic! Actually… ALL FOOD in Thailand is epic 😍
Phuket is famous for a number of things like exotic beaches, vibrant nightlife, colorful night markets, delicious seafood, white marble Big Buddha and of course scuba diving. Plenty of things to do and enjoy

Living in Phuket now for 25 yrs, I just came back from a 23 day, 6854 km tour around most of Thailand. It was great ! On my Honda Wave 100 cc, which is more than 18 years old and has 377,000km
Great video as expected. That's true, Patong is the first name that comes to my mind when I hear about Phuket and it was just over crowded and all when I stayed there. The island tour looked good and I really liked all the street arts and the restaurant with amazing food in the old town. And the hotel recommendation was again something that I was not expecting as I just know Mai Khao beach as a plane spotting beach. Thanks to both of you for this experience and have a good rest of your day.

Yessss we would LOVE to visit the Philippines. We went once, to Boracay, many years ago and were blown away by how beautiful the Philippines is and how genuinely lovely, warm and welcoming the locals are. We met so many wonderful people in a very short amount of time. We'd love to visit and do it in styleeeee ;)

there is a beach just by the Phuket airport. it's called Nai Yang beach where u can catch planes taking off and landing in close proximity. one of the most underrated and beautiful beach in my opinion
Isn't it?! At the end, we got to watch the mama have a bath with her baby (from a very safe distance) and it was the most amazing thing. They were so very happy, it brought tears of joy to your eyes!! The kinda thing that just makes your heart happy :)

Hahaha it was actually super comfy! They’ve got a really wide step in one end of the pool so you can stretch your legs out and the tray can float between you, you can spin it to grab food from the other side. It’s lovely and cool in the water 😍 a real dream!!!
