Dam what do you mean by fitament issue like it's not properly all the way in? I've heard from certain owners that you have to trip a piece of plastic off or something so that aftermarket lights will fit
yeah you have to strip a piece of plastic off the headlight adjustment screw and drill a hole in the cross member behind headlight for screw to slide into. So its fully snug where its suppose to mount.
Some people may not catch this comment and go straight to the link to buy. You may want to notate that you recommend "DO NOT BUY" above the link in the description.
Okay to get it to fit properly I ended up a week later drilling a small hole in the cross member to allow headlight adjustment screw to slide into hole when mounting instead of hitting...
My next question is why don't the LEDs stay on at all times? When I leave my headlights on automatic they don't turn on. I have to have my headlights on for them to work or manually turn on my fog lights. Stock headlights always have the LEDs on.
Just for anyone looking to buy these. Plan to bake and reseal them yourself to prevent water leaking. It’s a very easy job and takes no time at all. The bulbs they ship with the unit are garbage halogen bulbs, so spend an extra 40 bucks and order some LEDs or swap in an HID kit from amazon. The DRLs can be hardwired to the headlight harness. I believe it’s the yellow wire with the blue stripe, but you can test the plug slots with a voltage meter while pressing the unlock button on your key. This causes only the DRL lights to become powered, so you can easily find the wire you need to splice into this way. If done correctly your new LEDs will function just as the stock lights did. Hope this helps anyone! TLDR; buy better bulbs to begin with, reseal the lights, and hardwire the LED strips.
Yeah they ship with some h7 halogen bulbs that are dirt cheap. They are supposed to be h1/h11 bulbs, so it’s no wonder they blow out so easy. I read multiple reviews saying the same and just threw those bulbs away and got new ones. I would honestly keep the video and edit it, or post an update of you bringing the lights up to snuff. Just because there’s not a lot of info about making these lights work well, but they look amazing and I’m sure people want to know what extra work they need.
Your the person for me ask about it. For the low beams on those. Am i able to take the bulb out or no? Thinking about changing my headlights out for those
It replaces the bulb and ballast but in functionality it’s the exact same as stock. Still has screw in light and ballast. So what your seeing with stock will be very similiar
I went eventually went with some 8600x low beams. They are not enough though. The cheap tint still blocking too much light. I don't want to jump to 10k because that can blind other cars.
Sorry that's why I didn't go oem either. You might see what all vehicles had that same headlight part number and call salvage yards. But yeah I saw those crazy prices too
Hikari HID Megstron led bulbs. Have had great luck. Shouldn’t need to deal with the wiring mess your bulbs come with. Super bright HID in cool blue, just some mods with the dust guard and it’s plug & play H11
I’m having tons of fitment problems. It’s been nearly 2/3 hours and I just can’t get them to sit properly. When they’re seated as good as I can get them the lights them selves (low beams) are drastically uneven. Driver side is significantly higher up than passenger. I’m not sure which adjuster is which
Check the adjustment screws on the back of the headlights. They were hitting the cross beams on mine. I drilled a small hole in each cross beam. So the screw could slide in without hitting.
OnlineCarShow I managed to get them to fit.. but now the driver side light is collecting lots of condensation... but the passenger side is completely fine..
Ohkay, so I bought the exact same pair of headlights because of a shortage with the ride side. Condensation shorted out the low beam. I installed them and they were good for half a day. The right side highbeam went out. I took it off the car and jiggled the wires a bit and they came back on. Now, almost a week later, the whole right headlight assembly won't work, no matter how many times I jiggle the connection. Do you know how to solve this problem. Also, spent over $300.00 and the company is willing to give a full refund but I have to pay shipping, or a partial refund to take it to a local shop to get it fixed. But they only offered $60.00 for the partial refund.
I had similar issue with stock headlight. Ended up being the ballast unit on the passenger side. Are your headlights turning on? Sounds like the electrical part of yours is faulty
Also be prepared to change the bulbs out. If you get a low lamp fault and headlights stop working it’s the bulb. They are cheap Chinese bulbs. Changing to some decent ones helps the brightness too when you do replace
You need to open the dust boot cover and pull out the bundle of wiring inside the headlight assembly and find the green with with the plastic harness on it. There should be a white wire that’s connected to another white wire through one of those plastic harnesses. Undo the white wire and plug it into the green wire. You DRL should work on the auto mode after doing that.
Well don’t get the TINTED. I think I saw now tinted version. The tiny is on the outside and I’m about to have to polish and Lear coat it a second time now. Cheap tint they used…. I’d watch all my videos on problems I have. Think there’s like 3 or something. I had to drill into car to mount these and the bulbs they use are cheap. So be prepared to switch bulbs within a couple months of install. I’d go ahead and get a nice set of bulbs when you install first time. And don’t get tinted version.
You want my honest opinion...no. It requires drilling a hole in subframe to fit and the low beam bulbs went out in 2 months. They look awesome and if you are willing to deal with the couple headaches they look good. Hope that answers your question. I like the way they look but there are probably better options for a little more cash.
@@OnlinecarshowNet1 what brand of bulb did you replace them with? I know they're H7 but I'm looking for something brighter than the ones that came with it
I ended up drilling a hole in cross beam because adjustment screw high centered. Maybe problem you have. Check if any of the screws are hitting cross beam and drill a hole in cross beam where the one hits
Don’t know when I bought car they did not work. They do seem a tiny dim prob due to tint on lights. But they make led and hid upgrades I may apply in future
Alright so I want to start off by saying these are not direct bolt ons. I had to grind down a screw and plastic housing area because it was hitting the frame. Once I did some grinding it fit fine. Tested them out and everything worked as intended. Except about 2 minutes afterward the passenger bulb stopped working. The LED lights should also work at all times. However, instead the LEDs only come on when the headlight is turned on. If I turn running lights on the LEDs work as well. If I leave them on automatic they don't turn on. Turn signals work, high beams work, anything except the passenger bulb and LEDs that aren't always on like the stock headlights. Pretty irritated.
Yes adjustment screw. I had same issue but addressed a week later. I ended up drilling a small hole in cross member using drill bit to allow for bolt to slide in
@@OnlinecarshowNet1 yeah I miss read that comment before attempting mine. I thought you had to drill new screw holes. Went back and saw what you meant. Do you know which way to twist for which direction of adjustment? I think I should be able to adjust them. If not they seem pretty decent
Yeah I replaced with some Sylvinia and a lot brighter too. And you have to drill into support bar for adjustment screw not to hit. Just a small home so screw will slide inside when you mount
Well two things... the bulbs suck it comes with so if you get headlight low beam fault warning and headlights don’t work just replace bulbs. Also you have to drill a small hole in cross beam support for a screw to slide in for these to fit properly. Don’t cut the screw. Same here. I warned people about the issues with these through multiple videos. But I still love the look over stock. Looks made and matches lines in bumper very well.
The DRL make them look so good! but I had tons of problems with condensation build up even after resealing them. Also the low beams and high beams were yellow, worse than stock and hard to adjust.

You will need to possibly drill hole on cross beam so adjustment screw fitd
You’ll see back of headlights hit cros beam. Just drill a little hole in beam for screw to slide in when you mount
Cool beans brotha thank for the advice!

You can replace and adjust height. The low rams went out within 3 months of install so better to replace when you install for some decent bulbs
