You're doing a great job and its good to see someone using the proper sill panels, rather than the disastrous oversills. I'm amazed, and sad, to see so many expensive Mini's for sale online with oversills fitted, just asking for trouble for the future owner.
Yes 100% ive only ever fitted cut down oversills before so they are effectively the same size as standard. I have found the price difference in gen and pattern is minimal compared to the amount of fettling involved!
@@WilliamMurfitt There's a lot of so called "professional" restorers fit them, I don't get why you'd fit a panel larger than the original one, the only reason can ever be to hide or bodge. Its a bit like using woodchip wallpaper in the 70's, or Artex in the 80's :)
It's really coming along and looking good. Sorry to criticise but you really need to get the lighting sorted, most of the video was too dark to see anything.

Great job William! Can I ask if the "toeboard" pice you mounted in the end is possible to buy, or have you fabricated it yourself? Thanks
You can purchase lower flitch panel repairs but the fitment is pretty awful!
Father's Day!?!? Confused the heck out of me...!
Ha ha its all older footage, as i took a break from editing

Thank you, lights have been sorted?
@@WilliamMurfitt That's good, it'll make the next one so much better.
