Oh Samantha, your enthusiasm is contageous! I love when you say “I just love this one” on every project, and you can tell you are totally sincere. You have me thinking I can tackle a Teresa Wentler! In fact, I have admired your Lily Maiden stitch since the first time you showed it, probably in part because I am a May baby, so I stopped the video and went searching, lol. I found some good options, then low and behold your giveaway came at the end! Fingers crossed for that, but I’ll keep watching the others in the meantime. Arica’s organization video was superb and I’m looking forward to putting it to good use!
I just recently found you and LOVE your enthusiasm. It is contagious! I used to cross stitch when I was younger and had gotten away from it. I have recently gotten back into it partly because of you. Thanks so much! You inspire me! I have never beaded on a cross stitch. I may have to try that.
I’m stitching to gather up stitches from the 90s that I longed to do back then but never did. It’s like I’m gifting these projects to my younger self and I love it!

I love that you are stitching some older designs from the 1990’s. I have a few in my stash. My very first XS project was a Teresa Wentzler kit complete with metallic threads, beading and blending. So that became “normal” for me so I will stitch almost anything. I’m stitching my first Nora Corbett this year. I finally collected the entire Christmas Couriers and stitching all to make a mantle piece. Looking forward to seeing your progression on you wips.

Maybe you should initiate “summer samplers” except for Christmas in July. That might give you more opportunity to stitch on those larger pieces. 😊

Loved your WIP parade. All your projects are amazing and your plans for working on all of them through the year is great. Wow I am a Leo also. Love the Zodiac signs and that fabric is awesome. I would love to stitch the Summer Quaker but I could never stitch it on 32 count. My highest I can stitch on is 18 count but I would love to stitch it on 16 count. I still have not bought it yet for this reason. Yours is so beautiful. Happy Stitching.

I saw another Floss tuber mention the Treasure Island pattern by Owl Forest and I went to look it up and I wasn't tempted but seeing your piece makes we want to try it. Maybe cause I was just shopping for Aida today and I brought some Ecru (old map coloured) aida for Cunning cross stitch Wandering middle Earth sew your own adventure SAL.

LOVE your Emerald City....so lovely and sparkly. And of course you know that I love the Stargazer...have not started mine. Ah, Bluebelle....I LOVE her but missed the boat in buying her. She is so pretty. And of course Luna is amazing.....have to start her too....lol. LOVE Treasure Island too. Love the portfolio...so great. I like the two sea through pockets in it and of course the stitched piece and fabric are a fabulous idea. Love Hollyberry and of course also the Zodiac stitch and I admire anyone who stitches the Haw Run Hollow charts...there are so many.Oh ya, Mooka....what a chart...love it. Did you do her on Waterlily fabric? Love the Storyteller. Ummmm.....wow, I did not know that. Great idea. Oh lets face it , i love all of your stitches....all great....and it is always nice to see them. Especially the Nor's and Mira's....lol. Thanks for showing them and Happy New Year

In the past I always purchased the called for and I’m trying to experiment with new linens as time goes on here. Depends on the design really. Super fun WIP parade. I definitely agree that there are lots of patterns that are timeless, and I love that about our craft. I think your idea of having projects at various stages is a good one. I just got back into stitching a year ago, so I just have so many that are in the beginning phases. It would take a year or two to get to your level, but I'll keep your thoughts in mind when I might feel like clearing out the quick finishes all at once.

My thought process started at the beginning of 2023 with a lot of wips in the early stage and over the year if a project got even close to a finish I would then stop. A year later I’m here with still another 6mth maybe another year to get to where I would like to be. After that … well we shall see when I get there haha. 😂 Thank you again for your watching.
