Speaking of the turtle temps, my June had high colors that weren’t ever used the whole summer last year! Very hot for NE Ohio! It will be interesting to see how the rest of the summer will be. I really love your kitten hearts. So pretty, each month. Will miss your video next week, but have a fun 2 weeks including some stitching!
Having fun watching you in my hotel room during Lace Convention! It is that time of the year for traveling for sure! Every evening since I left I’ve been trying to put a few stitches into the “birdhouses” Some nights are better than others. 😁 And Guess What? I met a lacemaker/stitcher in the vendors room who said she always watches you and me on floss tube! It’s a small world after all! See you in a couple weeks. 💕🤗💕
I tried to do 40 ct verdal for a HAED full coverage but it was just too tiny to manage. You made it seem so easy, and it isn't (for me anyway!) I'll try a larger count and get a fabric with a grid and start over again. I love seeing your projects and always feel so inspired after watching your videos!
Hi Sarah I always love the progress you are doing on your cross stitching and your family projects are really looking beautiful. I have started my Christmas in July and I will probably do about 3 maybe 4 days work on each project. Today is my 52nd Anniversary with my hubby and July 27th is my birthday and I will be 72. Sarah where does the time fly. I always love seeing your video's. You are one of my favorites. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind.. God bless Pat
All of your cross stitching looks great! I enjoyed watching your video and seeing Smoky again. Have a wonderful two weeks, Happy 4th of July, and can't wait to see you again.
Here in the uk, we're back in the 50s temperature wise! Much as i hate extreme heat, I'd love a few warm days to warm my bones. Loving your cats and hesrts pieces.
If I want something special 123stitch is my go-to. Just regular fabric comes from Hobby Lobby which is the only choice I have local. I haven't washed my fabric in the washing machine but I don't think it would hurt and would help with the stiffness. If you start something now and change your mind a year later you have spent a lot of time and effort so there are 2 ways of looking at that.
Hi Sarah, so enjoy your videos and seeing all your progress! Question… How did you get Summer Montage into Pattern Keeper. Recently started that one and have been using highlighter to mark progress, but would be nice to get into PK. I hope you have a wonderful next couple of weeks and look forward to your next video! 🙏🙏🙏
The Summer Montage pattern I am stitching is the full coverage version from Paine Free Crafts and it went easily into Pattern Keeper. Are you stitching that version, or do you have the Janlynn version that is not full coverage? If you have the kit version, I don't have any great tips for putting it into PK, since I haven't done that with any of my paper patterns. There might be some people in the PK Facebook group that could help you figure it out. :)
Hi Sarah. I like the blue cats and hearts much more than the reds (personally!). That will be fun for us to see develop as you stitch. Question: I can not find “Away We Ride”, anywhere. Are you sure that is the name of the pattern? Was it in a magazine perhaps? Thank you!
I am not stitching anything by the name of Away We Ride. I believe that might be the name of a Blackbird Designs pattern, and it looks like it's in stock at 123stitch. I just finished the pattern called Dragon Ride - is that the one you're thinking of? That one is out of print, but you might be able to find it in a copy of Stitchers World magazine from September 1999.
Hi Sarah, beautiful stitching as always. Where did you buy the Dove Grey Monaco fabric? It's a lovely color. Happy stitching! Will you be coming to So Cal's stitching retreat in Temecula this year?❤
I got my Dove Grey Monaco from Ritarene's on Facebook: facebook.com/ritarenefabrics. I don't see it currently listed in the album for Linens & Evenweaves, but you could check with her to see if she can find more. Her prices are great and you can buy a minimum of a full yard, so I've had a lot to work with. :) Sadly no, I will not be coming to the Temecula retreat this year. Retreats are hard for me to make time for. Lots of things here on the homefront need me at this season of life. :)
I really like how bright and colorful your June kitty stitch is. Do you use any kind of magnification on your Simpson piece? Sometimes I have to use my magnifying glasses to read some of my charts. I also use magnification for 2 over 2 stitching on some fabrics if it isn't an evenweave.
Hi Sarah Love all of your Projects. Making great progress on them. Happy 4th of July - Have A Safe Enjoyable 4th of July Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🙏🧵🪡🧵✂️🐾🐱🐾❤️
Could you tell me the technique I need to use on Knitting Women pattern using one strand, one stitch away from all others stitches? Sorry I’ve tried to contact you in Instagram also. I might have explained my question better there.
It’s tough meeting stitching goals in summer when we’re so busy. Enjoy your time with your family and friends. See you in a couple weeks!
Hello Sarah. Love seeing all your progress, big or small. Looking forward to seeing you in about 2 weeks. Happy stitching. ❤❤
Great progress, Sarah! I love your cats and hearts. Have fun on your vacation. Safe travels.🌸❤️💕🌷

Thank you for sharing. Happy stitching.
Love your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!
I always look forward to your videos - thanks for sneaking one in during your busy season, Sarah.

Thanks Sarah! Yes, I have the kit version. I guess I will continue with my trusty hi lighter. 😀🙏🙏🙏
Happy stitching, have a wonderful vacation.
Hi Sarah. Thank you for the update - you made good progress! Enjoy the break. ⚘️
Happy 4th of July 🎆 Hope you and your family have a fabulous trip!

So far, I haven't needed to use magnification for any of my stitching. I'm sure that day is coming, though, so I'll enjoy it while I can. :)

Happy Stitching ❤!!
Speaking of christian historical romance, have you read the gresham chronicles by lawanna blackwell? It's old now, but SO GOOD.
I haven't read those yet - thanks for the recommendation!
Enjoy your vacation! 💝
Happy Canada Day! ❤️🇨🇦
