People will only think you are boring for not drinking, if drinking is their hobby. People with other hobbies don't really think much of it.
That's true but pretty much everyone I've ever known has been drinkers so part of the challenge is meeting people that don't drink
@@ProzzieI drink a lot Proz. I appreciate the video quite a bit actually.
I do think that a couple of drinks does make most people slightly more fun and interesting to be with, but it doesn't make up for all the downsides of drinking!
Yep, friendships are often based around hobbies. When you find a hobby you love, other people who love that hobby will do it with you.
也讓你早上不再頭昏腦脹,最重要的是讓你的臉更帥了;
這集告訴我們,跟真正的朋友喝烏龍茶也能喊~呼搭啦;
Right on Prozzie!
I’ve never drank and I’m 38. I can tell you that the comments from other people and peer pressure to drink never really goes away. People will understand, but the feeling of not fitting in at bars or parties also doesnt go away. You do you and be proud of where you’re going. Congrats 🎉
I’ve watched you drink for years and get down on yourself. I always wished more for you because you seem like a genuinely nice guy. I’m so happy you see your potential and a bright future for yourself, you deserve it and I look forward to seeing what’s next. Wishing you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2024 Prozzie.
Proud of you Prozzie! One of the best thing you've done in life.
Thanks! And yea I'm happy with the way I feel not drinking. No reason to go back
@@Prozziedid serpentza and laowhy86 leave china ? I used to watch u guys years ago and forgot all about u - how is life in Taiwan ?
I never actually quit alcohol, I just sort of drank less and less until I realised I'd not had a drink in six months. I always said I'd probably drink now and then as, like you, I'd enjoyed drinking. After the six months had passed I just couldn't be bothered with it anymore. I've just gone over one year now and I'm very happy with where I am in my life. Well done in doing something that was positive for you.
Good job my friend with reaching all those personal goals!! Hoping 2024 brings even better stuff!!
I haven't had a drink in about 3.5 years. I read the SAME book. It definitely told me some hard truths I finally was ready to hear at the time. I agree with a lot of what you said (less puffy, more money, more energy, more of a sweet tooth, people being weirded out about me not drinking), and I've had some different experiences as well. For example, I started cooking more and staying in more. Turns out I mostly wanted to go out to drink before. Another couple huge things for me early on was how good my sleep quality was, and how much free time I had to pursue other interests. Being alcohol-free felt like a superpower for that first year.
Good for you my man! I quit alcohol and illicit(?) drugs 29 years ago and never looked back. Best move I ever made.
I watched your video before I felt you're so negative. But these few months, I felt you are happier than before.
Good luck!
I wish you and Alan happiness. And be in good health and wealth.😊
I’m so proud of you prozzie! I know that doesn’t mean much from a random internet stranger, but I’ve seen you go hard on nights out since the days with Matt & Winston, and as a problem drinker myself I can relate to how it has affected you. I like your perspective on not drinking, and I am inspired seeing how it has changed your outlook on the future. This video was the nudge I needed to decide to cut out drinking. Maybe I’ll check that book out, I’ve heard it recommended before. Thank you, and I wish you all the best!
Edit: 1 month sober and feeling great!
That´s amazing Prozzie!! Getting rid of a habit, that was depleting your energy really had some win-win effects for you!
I’m proud of your accomplishment. It’s not easy giving up any habit. I’ve cut caffeine out of my life and it’s actually quite challenging. What’s next on the agenda? Any new challenges?
Good for you, take care of yourself. I had a Honda Rebel 500, loved it.😎
Prozzie, I used to be a heavy drinker. I'd go through a gallon of wine every 2 days. I stopped drinking voluntarily 2 years ago 1/1/21 cold turkey. I just stopped. I didn't want to drink anymore and I gained all the benefits that you listed in this exposé. 🇺🇸🤝🇨🇦
no idea why but Alan Carr easy way to stop smoking worked for me. I recommend that book all the time. cheers Prozzie, nice to hear things are going well for you bro
I'm so happy for your sobriety 🌈. Gives you an opportunity to get to know how really wonderful you are 🩷
Congrats pal, keep going with it. aldo feeling good gets you lucks.
Great job. Be positive. Support. 💪🏻💪🏻
Good job, well done,so glad to hear your good news .
Wow, so happy to see the change Prozzie, after so many years watching you grow >< best and most positive episode from you xo
It is one days since I quit drinking alcohol... so far so good :D
I’m very happy for you, doing what makes yourself happy and you are making positive changes for your social media community.
Just got the book too - let's see!
Proud of you 👏
I reckon cooking will come back around to you man. You can tell you always loved it. You'll just adjust to enjoying the process and not having it be that "party" you referred to. Good on ya
So amny chefs addicted to drugs or alcohol. Great content man! Loving the new vlogs. Full time looking good on ya
Wow, I watched your videos during Covid I didn't know when I stopped, your video showed up on the list and I started watching. I'm glad you are sober for over a year and became a permanent resident in Taiwan. It's great to see you've changed your life style!
Haha, I am curently reading “Easy way to quit smoking” from Allen Carr
i have never heard anyone who stopped drinking regret it. most people tell me it's one of the best decisions they've ever made. keep it up, Prozzie
Excellent, informative and encouraging video!
How are you?
The return of the moto-Vlog...absolutely loved it! When you introduced the Honda I pumped the air, how brilliant is that! Nice personal review of not drinking, not preachy, but actually very encouraging to anyone who may be considering the benefits of not drinking.
Prozzie...it brings light to my soul seeing that you are well.
HOLY MOLY YOU LOOK WAY BETTER MATE
No doubt everything will be better and better to you. GOOD LUCK.🍀
I've vastly reduced my alcohol intake in the past year. So, Prozzie, many of the things you say are very true. Keep up the effort!
Congratulations 🎉 I’m happy for you & your improved health! 👍🏼👍🏼
Prozzie, I am and you should be proud of you! I am glad to know that you are enjoying the new you.
This is fantastic to hear, mate!
Pozzie, keep it up. You've done a great job taking care of yourself. The benefits of being alcohol-free and physically, mentally healthy will keep coming your way. Happy New Year!
I’m 11 years deep sober on February 3 this year. One of the best changes I ever made!
So happy to see you are leading and enjoying toward a greater life in Taiwan!
Hey, just want to say congratulation on this alcohol-free journey! besides your physical transformation, you have a positive out look on life and that is a fantastic attitude to have. All the best!
You appear much healthier and happier.
Looking forward to your motorcycle touring!
I think it’s fantastic what you’ve accomplished! I’m glad you’re experiencing all the positives.
proud of you !!
Cmilk and Brian made cool videos of drunk prozzie. Without them, no point in drunk prozzie
Though I can't imagine Prozzie without a can of beer, I think the new Prozzie is better.
Keep up the good work!
There's been an observable shift in your energy and perspective since you stopped drinking. You're more enthusiastic and positive. I'm one of the lucky few who can drink rarely and party a few times a year and drink, but most of the time im sober and much more into working out/being positive. It feels good to not have drinking or being drunk be a part of my personality anymore. Can't ever imagine going back.
Awesome dude! Congrats! Keep up the awesome content
great shots on the bike, congrats on your achievements and keepin it real
You look so much healthier and younger!!!
I almost stopped watching your videos last year, because it seemed so many of your videos revolved around eating and drinking, and it seemed to become quite repetitious.
You made such a huge positive change in your life; alcohol is a depressant.
Thank you Prozzie! I've been toying with the idea of quitting alcohol, and your video really galvanized my will. Completely unironically, cheers mate!
Much congrats, Prozzie. Very good that your friends still enjoy having you along at bars w/o alienating you. It sounds like you'll be able to continue being a "teetotaler".
Personally, I've never drunk much altho I do enjoy drinking. I've always been very able to take it or leave it. For the last 12 years, I've had only one bottle of alcohol per year, a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate the new year, which I just had. It's not something that I planned, just something that sort of happened.
🍀
So proud of you, Prozzie! Very happy for you especially your outlook for life, which is the core source of energy.
I have always loved food but a social drinker. Have been to 67 countries overall and 25 in last year. Never thought or been told my life is boring without alcohol.
Sure your TH-cam career can take off too with the core source of energy solidified!
Congrats! Cheers man 🍻
Thank you for opening up. It's something I've thought about for a while. It feels like a huge commitment to make, but one thing you said that stuck with me is the "fogginess", it's real man.
12:22 you do get more positive 👍👏
Congratulations and hope things will keep going well
13:17 That's sad, I hope they can value mental interaction more. But Prozzie, I do get a sense of solitarily from you. I could be wrong, but if you often feel it is difficult to get involved in a group of ppl or hard to find a ppl who is willing to slow down to know you better. It is your feature but not a problem, so don't force yourself to do something you don't like just to blend in with the crowd. It is not necessary. And not good for both of you. Hope you can find a better way to adjust to the new normal
14:09 yeah, it shows they do not really know you. If there is a person like "nah, Prozzie is not like that, you guys are overreacting" and still feel comfortable when you are around, then he/she might be a person more willing to know others instead of himself/herself. Maybe they need some time to reknow you? hmm.
I'm happy for you btw xD
This is exactly what Dr. Andrew Huberman said. Quit drinking alcohol is never too late at any time.
I also have not really drunk alcohol for a year. I didn't decide to give up drinking, it just kind of happened!
Well done on keeping it going for so long!
I cut alcohol for a few months while doing keto a few years ago. It was a bit awkward when out with friends, but I went from 103kg to 80kg. Cutting alcohol definitely contributed to that!
I'm on keto again (after being off it for more than a year) and had only a couple of beers over Christmas and New Year after months off alcohol!
And if someone thinks you're boring just because you choose not to drink, they suck and aren't worth knowing.
It's certainly quite a different vibe comparing to the video 8 months ago. :) All the best!
Nice job! Whenever I cut down on booze I always notice an improvement in overall well-being (plus my face is less likely to be a puffy uncomfortable mess). I read Alan Carr's book on quitting smoking, and it definitely worked for me - maybe he applies the same principles.
Wow it’s been a year?! Last time you were on 100th day something no drinking, and now I have a lot more respect for you!!!!!
I don't care if the Rebel 500 is entry level, always loved it and I ride a sport bike. Lol
Much respect brother, well deserved.
Congrats Prozzie. You do seem happier and positive !! Way to go bro!!!
As someone who chooses not to drink, I applaud you. There’s no reason I don’t drink other than I don’t care. I prefer life sober…
Congrats man 🎉
Thanks man! You were a big help to me and really supportive. A lot of people would have panicked at the idea of losing a drinking buddy but you're a true friend
