Good point , but there are many (sorry about the reality) very good E-cars out there and Elon being a fucking asshole is definitely not helping sales. I own a S and and a Y and can tell you they are a bit tired when it comes to looks. The Y performs great and drives like a sled and my S is falling apart….again reality😂

what a lot of people don't understand is that when you or I learn something new, we may share that learning with some friends or a few family members but when 1 FSD car learns something the entire fleet learns it... That's why I think this one month free trial is genius. I feel like I have seen improvement in FSD from just two days ago.
And this happened to me yesterday and blew me away... I using the free FSD trial and the my car was doing the speed limit (which is the only thing I don't like about FSD but of course it make sense) and all of a sudden the car locked up, slammed the breaks. I was like WTF, is this phantom breaking I have heard about? Nope, it was some idiot homeless person (I'm in Seattle) who decided to cross the street as my Model 3 was self driving down the road. I didn't even see the guy but my car did. F'ing impressive!
You can use the right scroll wheel on the steering wheel to set your speed above the speed limit. I think it is a maximum of +5mph for side streets and over +20mph on freeways.

When the first OEM signs a licensing deal with Tesla the analysts will wake up. The rest will follow just like they did for charging.
We all know Ford will be the first oem begging Tesla for fsd licensing. Once this is announced the stock won't go below 400.

I agree. Based on personal experience working with an investment advisor, I currently have $1m in a well diversified portfolio, that has experienced exponential growth. It is not about having money to invest in stocks,but also you need to be knowledgeable, persistent, and have strong hands to back it up.

I had a flawless FSD drive last night on country and city roads. Price FSD right and I want this. It is a better driver at night than I am.

Would like to see Elon and Tesla use that spare $30 billion to offer 2% financing on new Teslas. Tesla is going to mash auto insurance, why not auto finance, and most of the rest of the industry with them. Quit cutting prices, just open Tesla Finance and offer great rates.
TESLA will just reduce price of Model 3 by $5.000 and Model Y by $7500.

I absolutely love how Jim Farley is so humble and respects the leader in the EV space (Elon/Tesla) and welcomes their generous help. Big props to Farley and Ford. GM's Mary B.S. Barra needs to take a cue from Jim, but at least she had enough humility to join the NACS. It'd be hilarious if they tried to hold out.

The company that NEEDS to license FSD is Stellantis, their "lane keep" is garbage.
I have been driving our 2021 MY with FSD for 5 days. It is mostly incredible that it will drive along a busy city road or a highwayperfectly change lanes stop at STOP signs and TRAFFIC lights as it navigates to your destination. Is is perfect no, not yet, mostly just the odd edge case. The last issues are usually the hardest to solve but CAMERA’S only does absolutely work.
FSD is and appears agressive, IMO it appears that way in part because it can operate significantly faster than we can. When i decide i should change lanes i first have to look to make sure it is clear and safe. FSD can decide, ensure clear and move in extremely fast!!
In the 1990’s Microsoft made the goal of being the primary operating system on the planet. There were dozens of other Operating System’s to choose from and they still achieved this.
I have a feeling Tesla FSD is going to have more than 50% of the autonomous vehicle software market. And maybe even the entire autonomous market, not just vehicles.
How long they will hold onto that will be interesting. Microsoft did it for 2 decades.

It ain’t easy being a Tesla shareholder. A little history….that I’ve lived. Tesla goes public in July, 2010, at $20/sh (all of the following stock prices are with NO stock splits unless I indicate otherwise). Over 2.5 years, by, Feb., 2013, it doubles to about $40/sh. I buy 300 shares at a little less than that price. Then it skyrockets to nearly $300/sh from April to Oct, 2013. Then….. NOTHING. NO sustained stock price appreciation for 6 YEARS. You could buy Tesla stock in mid-2019 for less that it cost in 2014 - DESPITE sales going up 10 times! The FUD is strong with this one, I thought. So, I kept buying more shares over that time period - just a few at a time. Then, in 2020, the market finally gets a clue, and Tesla’s stock price explodes over the next 2 years to $6,000/sh by late 2021. And since then? It’s settled back down to $2,473.50/sh at today’s (4/5/24) split adjusted price of $164.90/sh. Shockingly, Tesla nearly touched $1,500/sh, or $100/sh, split adjusted, in Jan., 2023 - and I bought more stock then! I’ve never sold a share since starting to buy Tesla stock in early 2013. My point being… if you have patience and quit anguishing over every quarterly earnings call and manufactured, click-baity Elon-crisis, you will be rewarded handsomely. Just set it and forget it. Then have your mind blown in a few years.

Like clockwork, I took advantage of the small dip into the 160’s, and of course it went immediately lower. Yes it’s in the mid seventies again now, but I’m still at a 10% loss for the later few years. Listening to the all the constant forecasts that TSLA “is going to EXplode!!” have come and gone an been constantly incorrect.
All I had to see was FSD correctly interpret a pedestrians guster to know that FSD is on the cusp of level (fill in the blank) autonomy.

@@codingispower1816 No, I don't have FSD. I was referring to the recent online video of a Tesla using FSD 12.3 pausing when it detected a pedestrian, after the person waved the car on. The Tesla correctly interpreted the woman's gesture and continued driving.

If it a stock pump its not working. I just got the free trial FSD and it drives better than me but i am a cautious driver. It accelerates faster than I do and hesitates geting on the main road but when it decides to go be more cautious than it is. It drives very safe.

Need to think about the cost of repairs. 2 challenges - 1 electric battery damage, 2 - mega press component damage...
Also resale value of electric cars. Currently no data on how batteries have charged by previous owners (fast or slow) to 80% or 100%, from 20% or 1%...
Plus, when better battery tech is round the corner, an expected sharp drop in current tech prices is normal...

I don't know about it taking multiple decades mate. History tells us that these disruptive technologies take a very short period to embed. It's a hockey stick. I could be wrong but how long did it take DVDs to replace VHS, how long did it take streaming to make DVDs obsolete? I wouldn't be surprised that once the tipping point is reached it will happen heaps fast.
Those devices cost a lot less. You can't equate an EV purchase with a DVD player.

I want to and am ready to buy a model 3 but I’m holding off because of interest rates. Loans are too expensive right now.
Interest rates don't affect car payments nearly as much as people think. A 2% rate drop will only save you about $40/month.
The only concern that I have is that this is what they said about back in the days were cartridges and VHS and cassettes were that it cost cheaper but no.. yes graphics/audio quality gotten better with DVD, CD but the price perhaps got more expensive. Yes Kodak, Blockbuster, companies like it gone bankrupt and it all turned into a digital online but the games, movies price stayed the same.
How would Tesla become different if everything from components to inflation be cheaper for consumers.
All I noticed is that the technology for sure is changing but not the price of the vehicle stayed the same infact Honda cost more now than in the old days.
Unlike Amazon, Google stocks, Meta these are the true technology.. and look the cellphone companies yes technology made it way better than the brick phones but the price and service kinda the same..
Other examples Mcdonald gotten expensive but if they stay in the same price the portion gotten smaller.. I don’t know Tesla become will cheaper, but for sure they’re dominating the market.

Hi SMR. I tried AG1. My results may not be representative of others. I did not get the awesome energy boost. However, I am already mostly eating a plant-based diet, drink morning green smoothies and exercise regularly. However, I might be an outlier in that regard.
And to think I used to follow Ross
You should look back at the analysts in 2020 complaining about Tesla getting regulatory credits, meanwhile it’s been 4 years and no competition in sight so Tesla is still getting paid to destroy ICE vehicles 😂
I invested in a big way in Tesla since 2016, most of my decision making revolves around Gordons perception. Basically I do the complete opposite, Im so pleased Gordon has the confidence to state Tesla has no Ai capability so confirming to me Tesla has complete Ai potential and time to buy again.

There's already not enough availability with electrify america, and I need to use that because it's the free charging included with my Porsche. And it's a shit show.
So I don't see exponential EV growth given the lack of infrastructure and the negative experience I've had.
Is Porsche getting supercharger access soon? Honest question. I'm in the UK where Tesla has much smaller market share of EVs and there is a lot of negativity in the news about charging EVs.

HOW did you miss that?? Even the Tesla Haters, know they have the best chargers. Are you not aware, that there are over 5 million EV drivers in the USA...driving DAILY, with No issues. 3 Million are Teslas.
Find a way to get a home charging solution. Sounds like you currently don't have one. Make it a top priority.
If you rent, offer to pay for the equipment/installation to the property owner. While it may cost you around $1k to have it installed. At least you'll be good too go at the start of every day fully charged up.
If you can't do that by a 10 gauge wire 100 ft extension cord and a third-party 120v charger adapter like a Lectron . At least that way you can get a partial charge every day.
