Full Throttle Weekend 21 April 2024 Race Day Summary at Batangas Racing Circuit

After testing the car at the track before the race day and setting a new all time lap record of 1.43.50 for Subaru STI with our stage 3 upgrades, we where quietly confident to improve even further on race day, but it was not going to work out as planned.
Session 1 on the coolest track temperatures and coolest ambient temperatures somebody in the session before us had engine issues and had dropped all the engine oil in the braking zone and all around the corner, but we still beat our old Subaru STI lap record, setting a 1.45 and was outright fastest.
In second session the track temps was much higher and we only managed to get a 1.44.4 but was again fastest outright and beat our old Subaru STI lap record for the 2nd time of the day.
In the third and last session we had throttle position sensor issues and some electrical grimlings and was on track two times to set a 1.42 lap but both times electrical issues ruined the attempt during the hot lap.
So we know the car can do a 1.42 with the stage 3 upgrades we had in it....so we will be aiming for at least a 1.41 low with our Stage 4 upgrades on the car at round 3 later this month.
