I think this video would be ineffective in teaching the embouchure. It just simply doesn't say enough. All I really got was basically a raspberry with tight corners. No offense intended and certainly not saying this guy is a bad teacher, but this video would not really help a beginner.

With the exception of "firm corners," every single other piece of advice in this video will set a beginner back by years; Jerome's demonstration of a functioning embouchure is nothing more than a "raspberry," which is not how humans play a brass instrument. No mention of the massive role the lower lip plays when setting an embouchure, either.
