Digitech RP255 Multieffect Processor

This video completes my demos of the RP series. As you can see I am using a new video editing program and I hope you enjoy the work. All the sounds were recorded using that "The Valve" 2x12 combo. I used the poweramp in to amplify the tones of the RP. That means that the RP is the preamp The Valve is responsible for the volume. The sound examples were picked up by two microphones using only one at a time to get a clearer result. Before you send me an email please check my other videos I might have covered a few questions there. Dont be mad at me if I dont reply the same day - making these videos is not my occupation after all!

Ok, i have many questions.
1st. I have a RP70 model and I was wondering if I should get this one and get ri of my RP70.
2nd. The Recording software that comes with this, is it compatible with Wndows 7?
3rd. Does this pedal have any megadeth or metallica sort of sounds?

If I understand correctly how the effects work, that means I can use a Fuzz AND the Whammy AND a Delay AND Reverb, but I cannot use a Phaser AND a Tremolo.
Is that correct?

@SkyDelta52 Beware 64bit editions, the Cubase registration/protection s/w did not work. I had to run Cubase in a 32bit XP emulation virtual machine. If I was paing for the Cubase s/w, I would send it back as it is just too much of a pain to get it working. Rest of the RP255 is great though....

I record by hooking the headphone line into a computer and use creative recording program or Sony Acid Studio to record mix and pretty much do anything you might want.

It's not normal. The RP255 doesn't have an on/off switch, so to turn it on you just have to plug a power supply.

You might want to contact your Digitech distributor or in the case that the distributor has changed contact the one which was responisble in the days the RP came out in your country. They can probably help and/or have the drivers and firmwares still. Digitech is now with a new owner and they are not up and running so far....which means you cannot expect help from them
