recording on the pc is nice and very easy. i just plugged a pc cable into my computer last night and downloaded the drivers from digitechs website and it started recording. it was crystal clear. great sounding recording.
I think it was your video that influenced me to buy my RP55 back in 2009. Around September I think. And it’s just now that I’m becoming serious with my TH-cam channel that a friend of mine lend this pedal again. Awesome video. I subscribed by the way.

@toofattoskate1 yeah you can, just use the first knob to pick a tone, then use the second knob to choose the harmonizing effect and the 3rd to choose the pitch of the hamonizing guitar. then use the arrows around "edit", push the top arrow until it gets to the chorus/fx row, and higher the speed.

@steswaby usb OR just get a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter and plug it in to your computers mic input. you might have to open the sound control window to get your levels right.

I can afford the 1000 but I guess i have to check if I really need the 'extras' I read in several forums the there are fewer effect options and therefore its more difficult to get the sound you want. i have this pedal for a while. Its pretty good but its kinda complicated I only recommend it for use with x-edit. That makes it easy to use , but remember u also need a garageband type program to accompany x-edit. Its a pain to setup. I run my guitar through the pedal, the pedal to the computer, have to set up xedit through garageband, then if u want to play it loud you gotta get the sound from the computer or tv to your amp.
@Fretfeeler if its like the rp150, i wouldnt recommend it for live use. it doesnt switch between effects without canceling the sound for a second (for example, when switching between effect 44 and 45 you will have a split second of silence.) throws you off and sounds shitty.
How come you don't mention anything about playing live with it? It seems like it would be not only capable of using live into a PA system with no amplifier, but awesome, judging by the reviews I've read. I think I'm going to go try one in the music store tomorrow.

I'm not sure If I'll buy this one or a Zoom G2, the G2 does have a better sample rate, but this one has... well, a lot more things... effects, amps, storage, looper... I'm just concerned about this Rp having a more digital sound because of the lower sample rate, and regardless of the features, the quality of the sound comes first for me.... Recommendations anyone? Zoom G2 or RP 155?

@steswaby You could use an awesome program called Audacity, which I use, and it serves me very well. Audacity is a free download as well. Still learning my way around it, but it's quite fun learning!! Hope it helps!!
Hi Ralfjung or others! Yesterday I bought this product and I am very satisfied. Only my problem is, I cannot connect right with pc through USB. X-edit software works fine, but it is not possible to reccord anything with DAW. I tried that in Mixcraft and Samplitude.. Can anybody help me? Thanks

I just bought a RP-155 and when I was about to use it for second time it does not work... well, I cannot make it to pass any signal to either my amp or earphones... so, no sound at all.... any suggestion on how to solve the problem? PLEASE, thanks!

Wow, this was A really awesome review. It showed a bunch of really great examples of the different kinds of sound you can get out of this little processor. I was strongly considering picking this baby up and you just pushed me over the edge and sold me on it. But now that I know it's not a worthless hunk of plastic, is it worth the extra $50 for the RP255? What do you think? If you recommend the 255 over the 155 then I will get that one. thanks, hopefully you will reply.
great demo,this unit can be complicated to understand with everything thats in it.
Looper mode is a great tool to practice your solos.

Although I must say the looper is sick as hell.
I like the effects , but most of the distortions of this unity they suck .
