I remember in the early 80s my dad used to take me for car rides every Saturday. And he played this song and told me to listen carefully. My dad passed away a few weeks later from a heart attack on a Saturday. I was 14 years old. And never forget this song and the words. I dont go to church because its not a house of worship its a business. People looking down their noses at you if the collection plate passed you. I celebrate Jesus Christ and the Holy ghost in my heart and my prayers and with my Daughter. Thanks Miss Tasha ✝️

Thank you for sharing this song and your own experiences....your good heart was visible right away...my grandfather taught us that you could talk to God anywhere you were as he did on the battlefields of Europe during 1940-1945...he had little tolerance for Holier than thou people who looked down on others ...his heart and door was open to all people ...this is why we admired him so much...Karl from eastern Canada ☮❤🙏 P.S. after checking the content on your channel I just subscribed👍👍👍

    Dear Tasha
Thank you for reacting to my favorite
    Johnny paycheck song.
I have lived through that. One of the churches I went to was like that. Even though I am a female, I dont like wearing dresses very often, I was going to church every Sunday and I love to sing so I wanted to join the choir.
I asked the pastor and the choir director, and the said the I couldn't join because I didn't wear dresses or skirts to church.
To me I thought that was prejudice but I didn't say anything. I just kept going to the church until we moved from napa to Sacramento.
I told a friend of mine, God doesn't care what you look like on the outside, as long as your heart is clean. I think that's what churches need to preach about.
OK. I'll let you go for now. I'll talk to you later. Love you always.

When in my teens a friend and I went into a Pentecostal church that was across the street from where I grew up. We had our jeans on and flannel shirts. We sat right up on the front pew. Shortly after the preach seemed to start staring at us and then commenced to preaching about coming into the house of the Lord dressed accordingly while staring directly at us and then I noticed others staring also. I tapped my friend on the shoulder and nodded toward the doors. I stop up to leave and then turned around and told the preacher out loud that this house of God was already desecrated with a bunch of hypocrits and we shouldn't be here for that reason not our clothes.

When I was in 8th grade the youth of my church was suppose to go help at the Misson downtown. A friend of mine and I got to talking about all the fancy cars on the as the "elders" were doing their bit but wouldn't give the alcoholics the time of day Monday through Friday. We ended up poking holes in the tires of the fancy cars. Yes, I did repent.

Thank you so much for sharing this song, and yes, I subscribe 😊 Hypocrites can be horrible. No, I'm far from
beinga perfect person should ever be turned away from the Church
For this is God's house, and no one should ever be a turned away. I don't care who they are they should never be turned away from God's house.
You seem to be such a nice person. Thank you so much. God bless you in Jesus Christ name and may you be filled with the Holy Spirit now and always 🙏 ❤

Jesus' concern becomes apparent when He says: “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” (John 7:24).

Our church we have tattooed bikers sitting next to old grandma’s and all types of people. There’s a saying you don’t have to clean up before you take a shower. The same applies to Jesus it’s a process everyone is a sinner

You asked for Church cred. Well, you got it!
I've said it before and I'll say it again... The modern "Church has converted more souls to atheism than it has to Christianity.

And we can be thankful that God is the true Judge. Also, I can't judge any Churches or any person ... that's our Father's God Almighty job. Even the big Churches and some put them down these Preachers have brought more people to Christ than I will ever
The most important question I truly believe we can ask anyone ever in your life is "are you a Christian".
Talk to others and ask them are they Christian and tell them how to pray the sinner's prayer knowing that God Almighty Sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ Our Holy Lord and Savior who died for our sins all sins so that we can be with him in heaven asking the Holy Spirit into your heart confessing your sinner "as we all are" accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit will abide in you 🙏 ✨️ 🙌 ❤️

God doesn't care if you're rich or poor or what's on your body. He cares about what deep down in your heart, and if you believe in him, and that his son died for their sins. Because in the end, that is what really matters.
