Another fact- In the Staged badges in the UK, there are 3 beta badges in the files- Community Impact 5, Community Impact 10 and Nautical Skills 7. there are also 2 Explorer badges- Skiing and Snowboarding. The images in the files feature the Post-2018 logo but no physical badges exist- these were likely replaced by the Snowsports Staged badge. These can't be found on the UK TSA website!

Thank you :) That's fantastic! It's wonderful to connect with a fellow Scout from Brazil. Scouting is such a global movement, bringing together people from all walks of life to share adventures, skills, and the spirit of camaraderie.
"Be Prepared" indeed! If you have any interesting stories or experiences from your time in Scouting, I’d love to hear them. Let's keep the Scouting spirit alive and share our adventures! 😊⚜️

Excellent as always, but I understand the balustrade is from the London Bridge which was demolished in 1820. The sections were moved to Gilwell Park after being purchased at auction in 1826. And contrary to popular belief, I wasn't at the auction personally.

Duty to god is not entirely compulsory. My associztion never had it, and is still a wosm and wagggs member.

That’s very true , it’s not compulsory to use that sentence in your scout promise

The Scouts and Guides of England each donated a penny to buy Baden-Powell a wedding gift, a 20 h.p. Standard motor-car (not the Rolls-Royce called "Jam-Roll" that was presented to them in 1929).

With regard to China, they do have the Red Scarves which is very close to Scoutong but is it recognized by WOSM? As they are supposed to be an atheist based society, they could not have duty to God as part of their promise.

It's a choice here in the UK to use it or not

Many associations have modified it to something in the vein of "true to my faith". Is this the case in Australia?

You can do an atheist or humanist promise. Neither has a duty to any God

Missed this at the time. Duty to God and duty to the monarch have become optional in Canada. There are official versions with and without those two elements, for every section.
