The moral to this story y’all is life is too short to stay in bad relationships bc of pride… my sister did that and went through two years of a trash marriage just to end up cheated on, divorced, and then dead months after the divorce (drunk driver hit her). She didn’t even get to enjoy her freedom for long - all bc she was too proud to ask for help to deal with a situation she felt she should have known better than to get in. Her only mistake was doubling down on a bad decision. Don’t ever be too proud to turn to the people who love you! It just ain’t worth the trauma!

I've heard this story a few times, and I don't want to victim blame, but it seems like she was so focused on his money. That's all that she seemed to care about. Did she make stupid decisions, yes. But she also mentioned that she was at that age where you want someone and she genuinely thought this was it. He was smooth, be was responsible and he probably said all the right things. I think sometimes someone wants something so bad, you're willing to overlook some things and other things he did seemed to ludicrous to be believable. Like why would someone say they have money for a house when they don't have it.

Yeah she did say she wanted to settle down, and she was at that age, especially coming from a religious background where she said she struggled living with man she isn't married. Obviously she never accepted any of their proposals because she's still in school and she's 14!! Many more lies...I don't remember.
